Daniel Kilgore Cleared For Super Bowl LV
Kansas City Chiefs center Daniel Kilgore has been cleared to play in Super Bowl LV against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, according to a source. Kilgore spent the week on the league's Reserve/COVID-19 list because of a high-risk close contact with the team's barber. He tested negative all week and is now good to go for the big game. Wide receiver Demarcus Robinson, who was also a high-risk close contact, was cleared on Friday. While Kilgore has been more of a backup offensive lineman for the Chiefs, his availability is great news for a Kansas City offensive line that will be without left tackle Eric Fisher (Achilles) against Tampa. Still, the Chiefs beat up O-line will be tested against a strong Buccaneers defensive front led by pass-rushers Jason Pierre-Paul and Shaquil Barrett.
