Donald Parham Jr. News
Los Angeles Chargers tight end Donald Parham Jr. hauled in his only target for a 3-yard touchdown in a Week 17 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. Parham's first trip to the end zone this season effectively put the game away as it gave the Chargers a 31-10 lead early in the fourth quarter. The 25-year-old has been targeted in three straight contests since returning from injury and will hope to close out the regular season on a high note against the Denver Broncos in Week 18.
The Los Angeles Chargers placed tight end Donald Parham Jr. (hamstring) on Injured Reserve on Saturday and promoted wide receiver Keelan Doss from the practice squad to the active roster in a corresponding move. Parham missed the team's Week 7 game due to a concussion and has played in just two games in 2022 due to injuries, catching three of four targets for 53 yards. He was cleared from the concussion protocol early this week, but he suffered a hamstring injury in practice that will keep him out for at least the next four games. Tre' McKitty and Richard Rodgers will battle for backup work behind starter Gerald Everett moving forward. Everett has clear TE1 upside this weekend against the Atlanta Falcons with both receivers Mike Williams (ankle) and Keenan Allen (hamstring) out.
Los Angeles Chargers tight end Donald Parham Jr. (hamstring) and kicker Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) did not practice on Thursday. Parham was cleared from the concussion protocol and practiced in full on Wednesday, but he apparently picked up a new injury and is in danger of missing the Week 9 game against the Atlanta Falcons. He's played in only two games this year and won't be a realistic streaming option if he's active on Sunday behind Gerald Everett. Hopkins injured his hamstring in Week 6 and remains week-to-week, so he could miss another game this weekend. LA signed kicker Cameron Dicker to their practice squad on Thursday and put Taylor Bertolet on the practice squad IR, so if Hopkins can't play, Dicker would likely do the kicking for the Bolts against the Falcons.

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Donald Parham Jr. could smash his draft position if things go right. He is currently 31st in the latest Rotoballer tight end rankings. The Chargers decided not to bring back Jared Cook but signed Gerald Everett from Seattle to a two-year, $12-million contract. Everett is fully expected to be the primary pass-catching tight end for Justin Herbert, but it's not as if there's no chance for Parham to produce. Everett has been just a middle-of-the-road player at the...
