Seattle Seahawks impending unrestricted free-agent running back Eddie Lacy is not expected to be back in 2018 with Chris Carson, Mike Davis and J.D. McKissic also in the mix. Carson has three years left on his deal, and the Seahawks see him as a big part of their future. Lacy was utterly useless for most of the year in his first and likely only season in Seattle, rushing 69 times in nine games for 179 yards (2.6 yards per carry) and zero touchdowns. Lacy's conditioning continues to struggle, and he hasn't scored a TD since 2015 with Green Bay. Lacy's career is on his its last legs.
Seattle Seahawks running back Eddie Lacy is a healthy inactive again in Week 17 against the Cardinals. Lacy was extremely unproductive this year, and he's been inactive each of the last four weeks. It shows how much Seattle thinks of him, as they'll be without his services in a must-win game against Arizona. Lacy will finish the regular season with 69 attempts for only 179 yards (2.6 yards per carry) and no touchdowns. Lacy looks finished.
Seattle Seahawks running back Eddie Lacy is a healthy inactive in Week 16 against the Cowboys. Lacy hasn't played since Dec. 3 against the Eagles when he had just one carry for three yards. He's clearly fallen out of favor and has been extremely ineffective this year behind a bad offensive line, averaging a measly 2.6 yards per carry on 69 attempts. Mike Davis will remain the team's main ball carrier to close out the year and should be seen as an RB2 for fantasy owners.
Seattle Seahawks running back Eddie Lacy is inactive for Sunday's Week 14 game versus the Jaguars. Coming off last week's performance, Mike Davis asserted himself as the lead back in the Seattle offense. It is no surprise that Lacy is an afterthought, but it is just the second time on the season that he has been inactive. Davis played 73 percent of the snaps last week, the highest share for a Seattle running back in a game this season. Safety Kam Chancellor, center Joey Hunt, guard Oday Aboushi, wide receiver David Moore, defensive tackle Nazair Jones and defensive end Dion Jordan are also inactive for Sunday's game.
Seattle Seahawks running back Eddie Lacy continued to slowly plod his way through the season as he led the pitiful Seattle rushing attack once again. Lacy carried the ball 17 times against San Francisco for 46 yards and no scores. Lacy is the primary back behind Russell Wilson for now, but he's been a nearly useless space-filler both in real life and fantasy football. With J.D. McKissic excelling, perhaps Lacy's carries will start slowing down, but either way, he shouldn't be owned by anyone.
Seattle Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham (knee) and running back Eddie Lacy (groin) were both limited in practice Monday. Graham should be fine to play Monday night against Atlanta. After going scoreless the first four weeks, Graham has exploded with six touchdowns the last five games, and he's become Seattle's go-to red-zone option. He is once again a top-tire fantasy tight end, although he's also TD-dependent. Lacy is expected to return after sitting out in Week 10. Although he could be given most of the backfield work, he'll still likely rotate with Thomas Rawls and has limited fantasy upside. Nobody in Seattle's backfield is anything more than a weak RB3/flex option.
Seattle Seahawks running back Eddie Lacy (groin) resumed practicing on Thursday and is expected to return for Week 11. Lacy missed last week's game against the Cardinals and was questionable leading into this weekend's game with the Falcons. He does not have a touchdown this season, and only has 128 rushing yards on 48 carries, and only has 13 touches in his last two games. If you are targeting someone in the Seahawks backfield, and that is a big if, Thomas Rawls is the player to target.
Seattle Seahawks running back Eddie Lacy (groin) has been officially ruled out for Week 10 against the Cardinals on Thursday after he missed practice all week. Consider it another opportunity wasted for Lacy, who was slated to lead the backfield in carries in Week 9 before being injured early in the game. With Lacy out this week, Thomas Rawls will lead the backfield in early-down chances now, putting him on the RB3/flex map. J.D. McKissic and C.J. Prosise will see chances in passing situations, though, limiting Rawls' ceiling.
Seattle Seahawks running back Eddie Lacy (groin) looks unlikely to be ready to play on a short week against the Cardinals on Thursday. He hasn't practiced Monday or Tuesday. Seattle will go with running backs Thomas Rawls, C.J. Prosise and J.D. McKissic in his absence. Lacy may have missed his opportunity, as he injured himself early in a Week 9 game in which the team intended to give him most of the work. Now Rawls should see most of the touches on early downs in a tough matchup, but he's still worth considering off the waiver wire as a low-end RB2 play. Prosise hasn't played since early October but should split pass-game work with McKissic. Neither are very attractive in PPR leagues at the moment.
Jimmy Graham, Eddie Lacy, Tyler Lockett All Miss Practice
Seattle Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham (ankle), running back Eddie Lacy (groin) and wide receiver Tyler Lockett (shoulder) all missed practice Monday. The Seahawks didn't actually hold a practice, so the report is an estimation of their participation. Graham is likely just being rested on a short week. He should be considered a strong TE1 moving forward after catching five passes for 59 yards in Week 9. Before last weekend, he had four touchdowns in the previous three weeks. Lacy was set to lead the backfield against the Redskins but wound up hurt early in the game and finished with just six carries for 20 yards. He's no lock to play against Arizona on Thursday, which would make Thomas Rawls an appealing RB3/flex. Lockett should be fine for Week 10, but he had just two catches (eight targets) for 10 yards in Week 9 and has mostly been a bust this year.
