Gabe Wright Cut By Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins released defensive tackle Gabe Wright on Monday after a practice altercation with running backKenyan Drake. According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald this was one of several fight that took place during practice, however Wright elbowed Drake in the back of the head while Drake was not wearing a helmet. This was viewed as a cheap shot and malicious act by the Dolphins' brass which is why Wright was so quickly cut. This is the second high profile incident to take place in Dolphins training camp after QB Ryan Tannehill kicked rookie RB Kalen Ballage out of the huddle on Sunday. Wright wasn't projected to start for the Dolphins and losing him shouldn't affect the strength of their run defense.
