Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Gehrig Dieter (personal) did not practice on Tuesday, according to The Kansas City Star. The reason for Dieter missing practice is undisclosed, so it's not injured related. Dieter is coming into his second season in Kansas City, but hopeful to be able to make an impact this year. He's basically a fifth receiving option right now, but he has all the preseason to prove his worth. Dieter isn't going to be a fantasy option right now, assuming three or four receivers don't suffer injuries. He could see some playing time in KC, but probably not enough to have fantasy value this season.
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Gehrig Dieter did not see much action during Friday's victory over the Falcons, but he was able to catch a touchdown. Dieter caught a 27-yard touchdown pass from veteran quarterback Chad Henne. Dieter finished the game with two receptions for 36 yards and one touchdown. It's unlikely that Dieter finishes very high on the WR depth chart, but at least he's making the most of his opportunities. Unless injuries occur, Dieter should not have fantasy value this season.
