Kavon Frazier Announces Retirement

Free safety Kavon Frazier officially announced his retirement from professional football on Friday on his Twitter account. Frazier spent the 2021 season with the Las Vegas Raiders, but he played in just one game. He also spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals but didn't get into a game. The 27-year-old was originally a sixth-round draft pick by the Dallas Cowboys in 2016 out of Central Michigan, and he spent the first four seasons of his career in Big D. Frazier will finish his six-year NFL career with 73 tackles (50 solo), four tackles for loss, one sack and one forced fumble in 60 games (two starts).

Kavon Frazier Signs With Bengals

Former Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins safety Kavon Frazier signed an undisclosed deal with the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday. Frazier was initially a sixth-round selection by the Cowboys out of Central Michigan in 2016, and he spent the first four seasons of his career in Dallas before joining the Dolphins for 15 games (no starts) last season. In five NFL seasons, the 26-year-old has 73 combined tackles (50 solo), one pass defensed, one forced fumble and one sack in 59 games (two starts). Frazier mainly represented depth in the secondary and on special teams in his time with Dallas, and he's likely to see a similar role in Cincy.

Kavon Frazier Should Be Ready for Week 1

Dallas Cowboys defensive back Kavon Frazier was forced to leave Sunday's preseason game due to a separated shoulder. Frazier was filling in for Xavier Woods, who is out with a hamstring injury. Frazier's departure was immediately a huge concern for the Cowboys defense, but it seems he avoided a serious injury, even saying that he would have gone back into the game if it had been the regular season. He should be out there for Week 1.
