Keke Coutee Hungry Heading Into Third Season

Houston Texans wide receiver Keke Coutee hopes to have a bigger role in 2020 despite the additions of Brandin Cooks and Randall Cobb after the team traded DeAndre Hopkins to the Cardinals. "Very hungry, very hungry," Coutee said. "Not a lot of talking, just ready to work. Results speak for themselves in 2020." Coutee had 11 catches for 109 yards in his rookie season in 2018, but injuries have held him to just 15 games in two seasons. He had 22 receptions for 254 yards and no touchdowns in nine games in 2019. Will Fuller V, Cooks and Cobb figure to be the starters, but Fuller and Cooks have injury concerns and Cobb turns 30 in August. But with Kenny Stills also in the fold, Coutee might be the odd man out in 2020.

Kenny Stills, Keke Coutee The Odd Men Out

The Houston Texans move to trade for wide receiver Brandin Cooks pushed both receivers Kenny Stills and Keke Coutee down the depth chart. Cooks, Will Fuller and Randall Cobb figure to be the starters in three-wide sets now, possibly making both Stills and Coutee expendable in either a trade or outright release. One or both of them could be traded for picks prior to next week's draft. Already a boom/bust commodity in fantasy, Stills will be even more unreliable if he remains with Houston. He had 40 catches for 561 yards and four TDs last season. Coutee, a former fourth-round pick, has just 50 catches for 541 yards and one touchdown in 15 games in his two seasons and continues to battle nagging injuries. Both Stills and Coutee could work their way back onto the fantasy map with a change of scenery.

Keke Coutee Exists!

Houston Texans wide receiver Keke Coutee last saw the field in Week 11, and coming into Sunday's game against the Broncos he had 16 catches all season. But with Will Fuller (hamstring) out, Coutee got a chance. A fumble marred his day, but he did catch five passes for 68 yards and was targeted eight times. Don't think this means anything in re-draft leagues, but maybe Coutee's involvement means you can't totally write him off in dynasty?
