Kenny McIntosh Believed to Have Suffered a Torn ACL

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Seattle Seahawks running back Kenny McIntosh (knee) is believed to have sustained a torn ACL. He suffered the injury during practice on Saturday, requiring assistance off the field. The 25-year-old finished the 2024 campaign with only 172 yards off 31 carries. He is competing for the No. 3 spot behind Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet while potentially serving as a return man on special teams. However, with McIntosh's season likely over, rookie Damien Martinez could replace him on the depth chart, although that won't help him be relevant for fantasy managers, at least as long as Walker and Charbonnet are healthy. McIntosh will undergo further testing, with an official diagnosis expected soon.

Kenny McIntosh Remains In Backup Role For Week 18

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenny McIntosh remains the backup to Zach Charbonnet heading into Sunday's Week 18 contest against the Los Angeles Rams. McIntosh played just 25 percent of the offensive snaps last week, rushing seven times for 46 yards on the ground. He was highly efficient but took a backseat to Charbonnet, as expected. McIntosh's efficiency could earn him some extra snaps against the Rams, but he's still expected to be the clear No. 2 option behind Charbonnet. The 24-year-old ranks as a low-end RB4 ahead of his matchup against a Rams defense allowing the 11th-most rushing yards to opposing running backs in 2024.

Kenny McIntosh Not On Fantasy Radar In Week 3

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenny McIntosh was a non-factor behind Zach Charbonnet in Week 2. While the Seahawks use Charbonnet behind Kenneth Walker III (oblique) when Walker is healthy, Week 2 indicated that Charbonnet will be a true workhorse back when Walker is injured. McIntosh may see a few snaps, but he will not see enough volume to merit a fantasy start.

Kenny McIntosh Should See Some Run In Week 2

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenny McIntosh is in line to receive carries behind Zach Charbonnet in Week 2 against the New England Patriots. With Kenneth Walker III (oblique) unlikely to suit up, McIntosh should serve as the No. 2 back. He is unlikely to have a huge role in this game, but he is worth watching in case Walker is forced to miss extended time. For now, he is off the fantasy radar. However, McIntosh is talented enough to make some noise given the opportunity.

Kenny McIntosh Looks To Secure Seahawks No. 3 Running Back Spot

Seattle Seahawks second-year running back Kenny McIntosh may have wrapped up the No. 3 running back spot on Saturday. McIntosh drew the start against the Cleveland Browns and finished with one reception for nine yards and one rushing attempt for 56 yards and a touchdown. The Seahawks must have felt like they saw enough from McIntosh because they turned the reins over to undrafted rookie George Holani following McIntosh's touchdown run. McIntosh was a seventh-round pick in 2023. He spent most of the year on injured reserve. McIntosh has been highly efficient this preseason. He has recorded 142 rushing yards and a touchdown on 17 attempts. He should provide the Seahawks with solid depth behind Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet.

Kenny McIntosh Paces Seahawks Running Backs Against Titans

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenny McIntosh led the team in carries and rushing yards in Saturday's loss to the Tennessee Titans. The second-year back had eight attempts for 46 yards and caught both of his targets for 17 yards through the air. McIntosh is competing with George Holani and Kobe Lewis to be the Seahawks' third-string running back. Last week, Holani scored a touchdown and Lewis led the team with eight carries. Against Tennessee, the two combined for six carries and a gain of two yards. The usage on Saturday indicates McIntosh is ahead on the depth chart for now, though he will still be behind Kenneth Walker III and Zack Charbonnet when the regular season begins.

Kenny McIntosh, Dee Eskridge Won't Play In Week 10

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenny McIntosh (knee) and Dee Eskridge (coach's decision) are both inactive for Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders. McIntosh, a rookie, practiced in full on Friday but still entered this weekend listed as questionable. It's unclear whether his absence is related to injury or if he's a healthy scratch. After all, he ranks fourth on the depth chart at running back. On the other hand, we know for sure that Eskridge is a healthy scratch. He played primarily on special teams over the last two weeks but won't be in uniform for Week 10.

Kenny McIntosh Activated Ahead Of Week 10

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenny McIntosh (knee) has been activated from the injured reserve ahead of the Week 10 matchup versus the Washington Commanders. The rookie back was diagnosed with a sprained left knee in August. He has been sidelined since then, but is finally ready to return to the field. The Seahawks could use the help with Kenneth Walker III (chest) and Zach Charbonnet (hamstring) both banged up heading into this contest. McIntosh could be significantly involved in the gameplan this week if the Seahawks are shorthanded on Sunday.

Kenny McIntosh Still Missing Practices

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenny McIntosh (knee) did not practice Wednesday due to a sprained knee. He's been off of the field for a month. The rookie sustained the injury during a mock game in early August. His status for Week 1 is still up in the air but looking unlikely as kickoff inches closer. Once healthy, the seventh-round pick is slated to play behind running backs Kenneth Walker III, Zach Charbonnet, and DeeJay Dallas.

Kenny McIntosh To Miss Some Time

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenny McIntosh (knee) was forced to exit early during Friday's mock game due to injury. It appears the rookie back suffered a left knee sprain, which is going to cost him some time. Head coach Pete Carroll mentioned that McIntosh is likely to miss a couple of weeks because of the injury. That's a tough break for McIntosh, but at least he should be ready in time for the regular season. In the meantime, Zach Charbonnet and DeeJay Dallas should get more reps during camp.
