Marquise Brown News
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown caught just one of his four targets in the 38-13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 18. Brown has been quiet since returning from his foot injury and Kyler Murray (torn ACL) has been out, but he'll be back in Arizona next season. Hopefully, Murray's recovery is speedy, but Brown will be an interesting fantasy option in 2023. While Brown was a legitimate WR1 early in the season, that was before DeAndre Hopkins (suspension) returned to the field. In 2023, he'll likely share the field with Hopkins from the start, so he could be a boom-or-bust draft pick wherever his ADP ends up. Brown finishes the year with 67 catches for 709 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games played.
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown will continue to occupy a large role in Week 18 after De'Andre Hopkins (knee) was ruled out. While increased volume should bode well for Brown's fantasy production, it's worth noting that he will be catching passes from depth quarterback David Blough while taking on an incredibly strong San Francisco 49ers defense. The 25-year-old receiver hauled in six of nine targets for 61 yards while playing with Blough last week, but his opponent was the Falcons, who boast one of the weakest secondaries. San Francisco is a whole different beast, which means Brown ranks as a WR3 in fantasy leagues with an even lower floor.
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown (wrist) was a full participant in practice on Wednesday and will suit up against the San Francisco 49ers, according to head coach Kliff Kingsbury. With David Blough under center last week, Brown turned nine targets into six receptions for 61 yards. Blough will start again this Sunday, and with star wideout DeAndre Hopkins (knee) ruled out for a second consecutive contest, Brown should continue to see plenty of opportunities. Fantasy managers with something to play for in Week 18 can view Brown as a solid flex option.
