Marquise Brown News

Marquise Brown Productive In Week 1 Victory

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Marquise Brown secured five of his six targets for 101 yards during the Week 1 win over the Browns. With Cleveland focusing most of its attention on stopping Lamar Jackson and his ability to find significant gains on the ground, the door was open for Hollywood to make some noise on the fantasy end. Regardless of league size or format, Brown should remain a must-start in Week 2 against the Houston Texans as the 23-year-old could be in line for some productive outings moving ahead.

Marquise Brown Could Make Some Noise Against Cleveland

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Marquise Brown could be in line for a successful year in 2020, with that trend possibly starting in Week 1 against Cleveland. Hollywood had flashes of efficiency throughout his 14 appearances during the regular season in 2019, compiling two games with multiple trips to the end zone and seven games with over at least 10 yards per reception. With many teams hoping to avoid Lamar Jackson from picking up significant gains on the ground, the sophomore wideout may draw some favorable defensive matchups, potentially resulting in some effective fantasy outings. The ceiling is high for Brown in Week 1, and for the remainder of the season, for that matter.

Marquise Brown Having Great Offseason

Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman said he thinks wide receiver Marquise Brown (foot) has "had a great offseason physically." Brown had an up-and-down rookie season while dealing with a Lisfranc injury that required surgery. Despite playing only 14 games, he still managed to finish as a top-50 fantasy wideout in a run-first offense. It speaks to the upside the deep threat has in the NFL as their No. 1 receiver, and he could see a breakout second season if his injury woes are behind him. The 23-year-old finished with 46 catches (71 targets) for 584 yards and seven touchdowns in 2019. Hollywood Brown is a boom/bust WR3 with plenty of upside heading into his sophomore campaign.
