Hollywood Brown Gets Extra Work After Practice

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hollywood Brown put in some extra work with quarterback Jalen Hurts following Thursday's practice. According to Jeff McLane, Hurts and Brown stayed behind to work specifically on an out route into the end zone. Earlier in 7-on-7 drills, a Hurts pass intended for Brown was intercepted, though there was no indication that Brown was responsible for the turnover. The veteran joined Philadelphia on a one-year deal in March after catching 49 passes for 587 yards and five touchdowns with Kansas City last season. Brown has made some plays during camp, but McLane described his overall showing as underwhelming earlier this week. The Eagles expected Brown to be heavily involved in the receiver rotation this summer, so the extra work with Hurts is notable as the two continue trying to sharpen their timing before the season.

Hollywood Brown Still Needs a Clear Redraft Role

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hollywood Brown has a chance to matter after A.J. Brown's departure. He just has not shown why fantasy managers need to draft him yet. Brown caught 49 of 74 targets for 587 yards and five touchdowns in 16 games for Kansas City last season. That was a useful rebound after an injury-ruined 2024, but he still made only six starts. Philadelphia signed him for one year, then built a crowded group around DeVonta Smith by trading for Dontayvion Wicks, drafting Makai Lemon in the first round, and adding Elijah Moore. The Eagles expect Brown to be involved in the rotation. A regular fantasy role is another question. Smith is the clear No. 1, while Brown, Wicks, and Lemon are still competing for the work behind him. RotoBaller ranks Brown WR106 in PPR leagues. That puts him outside the draftable range in ordinary 12-team formats, and there is no need to force the pick based on name recognition. Brown belongs on the watch list until he earns enough snaps and targets to offer more than the occasional deep play.

It's Time for Dynasty Managers to Move on From Hollywood Brown

Across 16 games (six starts) with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2025, veteran wide receiver Hollywood Brown recorded 49 catches for 587 yards and five touchdowns on 74 targets. Entering 2026, Brown is now a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. While Philadelphia lost a key pass-catcher by trading wideout A.J. Brown to the New England Patriots, the team selected wide receiver Makai Lemon in the first round of the 2026 Draft and acquired wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks from the Green Bay Packers. As a result, Hollywood is likely to start the upcoming season as the Eagles' WR4 behind Lemon, Wicks, and DeVonta Smith. While Brown was a productive player at earlier points in his career, he's now five years removed from his only 1,000-yard season. As an undersized wide receiver who relies on speed, it's fair to question how much Brown has left in the tank as he enters his age-29 campaign. In dynasty formats, managers should be looking to move on from Brown.

Does Hollywood Brown Hold Enough Trade Value to Move on in Dynasty Leagues?

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hollywood Brown finished as the fantasy WR24 in his final season with the Ravens in 2021, but he has not since cracked the top 40. In signing a one-year deal with the Eagles this offseason, he finds himself on his fourth team in six seasons, on a depth chart that could prevent him from seeing an every-down role. At 29 years old, the aging speedster has likely lost a step since running an unofficial 4.27-second 40-yard dash at his 2019 Pro Day, and at only 5'9" and 170 pounds, the Eagles could opt to put the bigger, stronger Dontayvion Wicks in A.J. Brown's vacated X-role opposite three-time 1,000-yard receiver DeVonta Smith. Closer to the inside, Brown could be further boxed out by 2026 first-round pick Makai Lemon, leaving him in more of a situational role unlikely to translate to consistent fantasy production. At RotoBaller's dynasty WR103, Brown is by no means a sought-after trade target, but he could still carry enough name recognition to throw in as a finishing piece to a larger deal.

Hollywood Brown a Dynasty Fade in New-Look Eagles Receiver Room

When the Philadelphia Eagles signed veteran wide receiver Hollywood Brown to a one-year deal in mid-March, it was the first of several steps taken to prepare for life without three-time Pro Bowler A.J. Brown. The team has since traded for Dontayvion Wicks and has spent first and second-round picks on Makai Lemon and tight end Eli Stowers. With the latter Brown being dealt to New England on June 1st, incumbents DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert are the last remaining pillars of a receiving core that prepares to play under its fifth offensive coordinator in as many seasons. Himself no stranger to change, the Eagles mark Hollywood Brown's fourth team in six years, but unable to top a WR45 fantasy finish at either of his last two stops, it's unlikely he takes a significant step forward in his new environment. With Smith and Lemon projected to lead the team in targets, Brown could be dealing with a limited workload in what still projects to be a run-first offense, and at 29 years old, he has fallen to RotoBaller's dynasty WR104.

Hollywood Brown a Cut Candidate in Dynasty Leagues?

Following two disappointing seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2024 and 2025, wide receiver Hollywood Brown linked up with the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason on a one-year, $5 million deal. Hollywood played in just two games in his first year in KC due to an injury and combined for 58 receptions on 89 targets for 678 yards and five touchdowns in 18 regular-season games (seven starts) in his two seasons with the Chiefs. The 28-year-old failed to stand out when fully healthy in his final season in KC, posting a 49-587-5 line in 16 games, and even with the Eagles expected to move on from A.J. Brown after June 1, it's hard to imagine the former first-rounder in 2019 out of Oklahoma having a career resurgence in his return to the NFC. Brown seems likely to be subtracted from Philly's WR room soon, but the Eagles also added Dontayvion Wicks in a trade and took former USC pass-catcher Makai Lemon in the first round of April's draft. While Brown could pop for some big plays here and there with the Eagles, target volume is going to be an issue. The once-dangerous and speedy deep threat has now fallen outside of RotoBaller's top-100 dynasty rankings at WR.

Marquise Brown Sliding Down Eagles' Depth Chart Following 2026 Draft

Veteran wide receiver Marquise Brown found a new home this offseason, latching on with the Philadelphia Eagles on a one-year contract for the 2026 campaign. Across 16 games with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2025, Brown recorded 49 receptions for 587 yards and five touchdowns on 74 targets. The Eagles are widely expected to trade away star wideout A.J. Brown within the next few months, which would obviously open up target opportunities for Brown. However, Philadelphia also recently used a first-round pick on USC wide receiver Makai Lemon in the 2026 Draft and traded for former Green Bay Packers wideout Dontayvion Wicks. As a result, Brown does not appear to be guaranteed a fantasy-relevant role in Philadelphia and might not even be fully assured of a roster spot. Heading into his age-29 season, Brown's dynasty value is fading fast.

Marquise Brown's Outlook Dependent on Teammate's Trade Rumors

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Marquise Brown doesn't currently occupy a fantasy-relevant role, but he could get onto the fantasy radar if teammate A.J. Brown is traded this offseason. Marquise Brown inked a one-year deal with the Eagles after ranking as the WR43 with 49 catches, 587 yards, and five touchdowns last year. He's the No. 3 receiver in Philadelphia behind DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown, but he'd jump to No. 2 on the depth chart -- and become a WR3/flex candidate -- if the latter is dealt before Week 1. The 28-year-old is no stranger to playing for competitive teams, spending time with the Ravens, Cardinals, and Chiefs. If he does take on a larger role, he could benefit from a new-look Eagles system that is expected to throw the ball more efficiently under offensive coordinator Sean Mannion.

Eagles Signing Marquise Brown to One-Year Deal

The Philadelphia Eagles are signing former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown to a one-year deal worth up to $6.5 million on Tuesday, multiple sources told Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports. Hollywood played in just two games in his first year with the Chiefs in 2024 due to an injury, but he rebounded last year to catch 49 passes on 74 targets for 587 yards and five touchdowns in 16 games (six starts). The 28-year-old pass-catcher has been on the decline since posting his only 1,000-yard season back in 2021 with the Baltimore Ravens. However, Brown could have a decent role in Philly behind DeVonta Smith if the Eagles trade A.J. Brown this offseason. Brown's 2026 fantasy football value will depend largely on whether Brown ends up in another uniform heading into next season. For his career, Brown has averaged 11.6 yards per catch and has 4,322 receiving yards and 33 touchdowns on 371 catches in his seven NFL seasons.

Marquise Brown's Fantasy Stock Trending Downward Heading into 2026

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown opened the 2025 season with a bang, hauling in 10 catches for 99 yards on 16 targets in Week 1 against the Los Angeles Chargers. However, the 28-year-old was not able to maintain his hot start and saw his role in the Chiefs' offense gradually fade over the course of the season. Across 16 games overall, Brown recorded 49 receptions for 587 yards and five touchdowns on 74 targets. Heading into his age-29 season, Brown is now set to hit unrestricted free agency. Chiefs WR1 Rashee Rice is currently being sued by the mother of his children for alleged physical abuse and is being investigated by the NFL for violations of the league's personal conduct policy. As a result, there could be an opening for playing time in Kansas City if the team chooses to bring Brown back on a new contract. Still, Brown's production has been on a gradual decline since his banner 2021 season, when he recorded 1,008 yards and six touchdown catches as a member of the Baltimore Ravens. His fantasy outlook is likely trending in the wrong direction heading into 2026, regardless of where he signs in free agency.
