Marquise Brown News

Marquise Brown Having Great Offseason

Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman said he thinks wide receiver Marquise Brown (foot) has "had a great offseason physically." Brown had an up-and-down rookie season while dealing with a Lisfranc injury that required surgery. Despite playing only 14 games, he still managed to finish as a top-50 fantasy wideout in a run-first offense. It speaks to the upside the deep threat has in the NFL as their No. 1 receiver, and he could see a breakout second season if his injury woes are behind him. The 23-year-old finished with 46 catches (71 targets) for 584 yards and seven touchdowns in 2019. Hollywood Brown is a boom/bust WR3 with plenty of upside heading into his sophomore campaign.

Expectations High For Marquise Brown

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Marquise Brown has plenty of hype heading into the upcoming season. The sophomore shined at times during his rookie season in 2019 and was the team's leading wideout, finishing the year with 46 catches for 584 yards and seven touchdowns. He missed two games as a result of an ankle injury, but with that issue seemingly behind him, the 23-year-old may benefit from opposing teams looking to stop the Ravens' run-heavy offensive approach. Brown is expected to be a late-round selection in fantasy drafts for the 2020 campaign. Fantasy managers who need to fill a void should keep him in mind as he has a genuine chance to surpass his ADP expectations, especially if he can pull in a few more receptions on a week-to-week basis.

Marquise Brown Has Offseason Foot Surgery

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Marquise Brown (foot) had offseason surgery to remove the screw from his foot, according to sources. Brown might be limited in the offseason program because of the surgery, but he's expected to be fine by training camp. Hollywood was bothered by his foot throughout his rookie season, which is why Baltimore kept his snaps limited on game day. The 22-year-old first-round pick showed flashes in his first year in the NFL, catching 46 passes for 584 yards and seven touchdowns. He's a boom-or-bust fantasy commodity as a deep threat, but his ceiling is still very high in this Ravens offense led by quarterback Lamar Jackson.
