Jalen Hurts News
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will face the Tennessee Titans this Sunday. The 24-year-old is coming off a record-breaking performance against Green Bay, where he became the all-time leader in Eagles history in total rushing yards in a single game at the quarterback position. He will look to continue to roll against Tennessee this week. The Titans allow the fifth-most fantasy points to the quarterback position this season and are tied for the fourth-most passing touchdowns given up. Philadelphia's top wide receiver A.J. Brown has had a couple of down weeks but gets to play his former team in Tennessee and could spearhead the Eagles' passing attack. Hurts has finished as the QB6 or better in all but two games this season. With a soft matchup against Tennessee this week, do not hesitate to fire him up once again as a clear-cut top-five fantasy quarterback in Week 13.
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 16-of-28 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns, adding 157 rushing yards on 17 carries during the team's 40-33 victory over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night. The 24-year-old broke the Eagles' all-time rushing yardage record in a single game. Philadelphia beat down the Packers' defense with their rushing attack, gaining a total of 363 yards on the ground. Hurts was not running the ball at a high rate from Weeks 6-10 but has a total of 33 carries for 243 yards over the past two weeks. The third-year quarterback is one of the best fantasy quarterbacks right now and will look to continue to roll next week against the Tennessee Titans. He should be considered a top-three fantasy option in Week 13.
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will face the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night. The third-year quarterback has failed to throw for 200 or more yards over the past two weeks but has run the ball 22 times for 114 yards and two touchdowns. After leaning more on his arm for a four-game stretch, Hurts has recently relied on his rushing ability to keep the Eagles' offense on the field. He is most valuable for fantasy purposes when he runs often and should continue to do so this week against a Packers defense that has given up the eighth-fewest passing yards through 11 weeks. Hurts is matchup-proof in fantasy and should continue to produce top-tier production even in a tough matchup on paper. Consider the 24-year-old a strong QB1 play in Week 12.
Jalen Hurts has been fantasy football gold his first two seasons in the NFL. As a rookie, he finished as QB7 on a per-game basis, averaging 23.7 fantasy points per game (PPG) in four starts. In 2021, he finished as QB6, averaging 21.4 PPG. But last year was a tale of two seasons for Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles. Between Weeks 1 and 7, they passed nearly 60% of the time. From Week 8 on, however, they passed just 41.5%. A complete 180 in terms of a game plan, which actually suppressed Hurts'...
