The 27-year-old started all 20 games for the Eagles last season and now cashes in on the open market. In 17 regular season starts in 2022, Epps had a career-high 94 tackles (70 solo), four tackles for loss, six passes defensed and a forced fumble for Philly. He should be on the IDP radar yet again in his new home as the expected starting strong safety for the Raiders. Epps was initially a sixth-round selection by the Minnesota Vikings in 2019. He has 209 tackles (149 solo) and three interceptions in four NFL campaigns.
Philadelphia Eagles safety Marcus Epps has tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, according to a source. There have been no other positive tests from Wednesday's round of testing. The Eagles will now enter intensive COVID-19 protocols during their bye week.
