Dallas Goedert is Losing Fantasy Trust After Rough Stretch

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert let down once again last week, tallying his fifth straight performance with fewer than 50 yards. In fact, Goedert has only eclipsed that number once this season-in Week 6 when he finished with 110 yards. His once-remarkable touchdown streak now feels like a distant memory as he has failed to find the end zone in three consecutive games. What's also concerning is his lack of targets; Goedert has recorded three or fewer looks in three of his last five outings. He has become a rather untrustworthy player lately, so it's difficult to be optimistic about him this week, even against a Bears defense giving up the seventh-most fantasy points to tight ends. Goedert has some work to do to be considered elite again, and for now is only valuable if he starts seeing more red zone work. He's a high-risk, high-reward TE2 in Week 13.

Dallas Goedert Should Be Trusted to Bust His Slump

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert couldn't get it going against the Lions, managing just two catches for 24 yards on five targets. After a couple troubling performances in a row, the question for Goedert boils down to this: have his scoring opportunities dried up, or is he due? He'll look to get out of his rough patch this Sunday as he travels to Dallas to take on the Cowboys in a rematch of the season opener. Last time he played his division rivals, Goedert recorded seven catches, which is the second-most he's had in a game this year. After showing promise against this opponent already-even without finding the end zone-bet on him to have another solid outing. He's a low-end TE1 in Week 12.

Dallas Goedert Worth Taking the Chance on in Week 11

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert's six targets were second-most for his team in their last game, trailing only behind DeVonta Smith who had seven. Unfortunately for Goedert, this was his third game of the season in which he did not score a touchdown, and he has relied heavily on finding the end zone to have real fantasy production. He'll look to get back to his scoring ways this week against the Lions, whose defense allows the 13th-least amount of fantasy points to tight ends this year. In two of Detroit's last four games, the leading receiver for the opposing team has been a tight end (Cade Otton and Travis Kelce), which poses some promise for Goedert heading into Sunday Night Football. It feels like starting him boils down to taking the gamble on whether or not he finds pay dirt, but he still does it more often than not. He's a low-end TE1 in Week 11.

Dallas Goedert Aiming to Remain a Top Fantasy Tight End

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert has been a top fantasy producer. It's fair to say he's had some weak showings throughout the 2025 campaign. However, the 30-year-old has also had a few standout performances, including a two-touchdown effort in the Week 8 NFC East clash with the New York Giants, marking his second multi-score game of the year. Goedert has 30 catches and 289 receiving yards this season, which isn't great compared to other tight ends around the National Football League. On the other hand, he's made up for it by finding the end zone seven times, more than anyone else at the position. With the Eagles sitting among the top teams in the NFC, Philadelphia will look to extend its winning streak to three games by handling Green Bay on Monday night. The Packers have had trouble defending opposing tight ends this season. Still, Goedert's designation as a must-start fantasy option wouldn't have changed even if he had a challenging matchup on the horizon. That will remain the case until he shows signs of regression moving ahead.

Dallas Goedert May Need to Find End Zone to Be Start-Worthy

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert had his second two-touchdown game of the season in his last performance-the same performance that saw him targeted just three times. Goedert has had many touchdown-dependent showings like this throughout the year-several outings where, had he not scored, he would have mustered just a few fantasy points on less than five catches. But on the other hand, he has scored six red zone receiving touchdowns this season, which is double the amount of everyone else on his team combined. On Monday he faces a Packers defense allowing the seventh-most fantasy points to tight ends. Managers will likely have to pray that Goedert finds pay dirt once (or twice) again this week, but those prayers have been answered so many times already. Consider him a low-end TE1 for Week 10.

Dallas Goedert Looks to Dominate Giants Once Again

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (calf) does not carry an injury designation on the Friday injury report. Goedert's touchdown streak finally came to an end last week after four straight games of scoring. It was an overall poor showing for Goedert, who had just three targets-his second-lowest in a game this season-amounting to three catches for 18 yards. However, on Sunday he's up against the Giants, who he torched in Week 6 for 110 yards on nine catches in his best performance yet. Now without A.J. Brown, it's fair to assume Goedert is in for another heavy workload against New York. The G-Men give up the 12th-least amount of fantasy points to tight ends this year, but that should be offset by Jalen Hurts' need to rely on a favorite weapon with another forced to the sidelines. Goedert is an enticing TE1 in Week 8.

Dallas Goedert Dealing With Calf Injury Heading into Week 8

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (calf) is dealing with a calf injury and was limited in the team's first practice of the week on Wednesday, according to the team. Goedert scored five touchdowns in a four-game span leading into the Week 7 win over the Minnesota Vikings last Sunday, but he managed only three receptions for 18 yards in that game and broke his touchdown streak. Still, the 30-year-old remains a big part of Philly's passing attack, as evidenced by his 21.7% target share through six games played. Where Goedert really excels is in the red zone, as he's been quarterback Jalen Hurts' go-to target there. His calf injury doesn't appear to be all that serious, so we expect Goedert to suit up in the divisional rematch against the New York Giants in Week 8. Goedert had by far his best game of the year two weeks ago against New York, catching nine of 11 targets for 110 yards and a touchdown.

Dallas Goedert is a Looming Touchdown Threat Against Vikings

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert cannot be stopped from scoring this season, as he found the end zone for his fourth straight game against the Giants. On top of that, Goedert had his most impressive overall showing yet, racking up nine catches on 11 targets for 110 yards. His next opponent is the Vikings, who are tough on WRs but allow the 13th-most fantasy points to tight ends. In Minnesota's last game, Browns tight end David Njoku led his team in receptions and receiving yards. Goedert has given no reason to doubt his production when it comes to red zone looks, and should be considered a solid TE1 in Week 7.

Dallas Goedert Serves as Top Pass-Catcher, Hauls in Touchdown on Thursday

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert caught nine of his 11 targets for 110 yards and a touchdown -- all team highs -- during Thursday night's loss to the New York Giants in Week 6. While the Eagles came up short, Goedert had his best game of the season. In fact, he has quietly emerged as one of the top tight ends in fantasy football, scoring double-digit points (PPR) in all five of his games. He has four consecutive games with a touchdown, finding the end zone a total of five times during that span. As players like A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith continue to deal with inconsistent roles, Goedert has emerged as one of Jalen Hurts' favorite targets. He's a solid mid-range TE1 option heading into Week 7 against Minnesota.

Dallas Goedert Will Try to Find End Zone Again Versus Giants

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert has now scored in three straight games, bringing his touchdown total to four since the start of Week 3. What's scary about Goedert is the fact that he hasn't garnered more than four receptions in a game since Week 1. While he is touchdown-dependent, managers might as well keep starting him while he's scoring touchdowns. He does lead Philly in targets and receptions inside the 10-yard line and boasts a 100% catch rate in that area. His streak will likely have to end eventually, but for now Goedert should still be considered a low-end TE1.
