Philadelphia Expecting Fourth-Round Pick For Dallas Goedert

Per NFL Insider Josina Anderson, the Philadelphia Eagles expect at least a fourth-round pick for tight end Dallas Goedert in a potential trade. Anderson reports the team would be willing to accept a pick from the 2026 or 2027 draft. Furthermore, a lower pick and salary adjustment from some teams could get the job done. Health has been a knock on Goedert. The 30-year-old veteran missed seven games in 2024 while battling through knee and hamstring injuries and has played just one full season -- his first -- despite seven years in the league. However, he's been productive when healthy and even had a ten-catch, 170-yard performance as recent as Week 3 this past season. Trades in the NFL don't typically go at the asking price, but a fourth-round pick seems reasonable for a player who still has some juice left in the tank. Additionally, several teams could use a dynamic receiving tight end.

Dallas Goedert Reportedly On The Trade Block

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert is reportedly on the trade block, according to team beat reporter Eliot Shorr-Parks. With the new league year set to begin on Wednesday, the Eagles are making no secret about the fact that they would like to move Goedert, with Parks stating that it feels like the tight end's time with the team is nearing an end. Goedert has been productive when on the field for the Eagles, but he has struggled with injuries, missing 23 games over his seven-year career. Veteran Grant Calcaterra is listed as the team's No. 2 tight end on the depth chart and showed some flashes in 2024 when Goedert was out, but the Eagles could also opt to address the position in the 2025 draft in what is a strong year for tight-end prospects.

Dallas Goedert Targeted Twice In Super Bowl

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert caught each of his two targets for a total of 27 yards during Sunday's Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The veteran receiver struggled to overcome competition for touches in 2024, losing key opportunities to players like Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown, and DeVonta Smith. In fact, he wasn't even targeted in the second half of Sunday's big game. (One potential explanation is that the Eagles went run-heavy for most of the third and fourth quarters to drain the clock.) All in all, Goedert still has mid-range TE1 fantasy upside, but his floor dips significantly into the TE2 tier. As a result, we view him as a fringe top-12 fantasy tight end option heading into the 2025 season.

Dallas Goedert Available For Super Bowl

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (ankle) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Sunday's Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs. As expected, Goedert is ready to go after getting through three straight full practice sessions this week. This is good news for the Eagles offense with wide receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring) still banged up heading into this game. That being said, Goedert might be asked to play a bigger role on offense if Smith is somewhat limited. Goedert is coming off a seven-catch performance for 85 yards during the NFL title game against the Washington Commanders. He figures to play a significant role during the upcoming Super Bowl.

Dallas Goedert Practices In Full Again

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (ankle) was a full participant during Thursday's practice session. This is now back-to-back full practices for Goedert ahead of this Sunday's Super Bowl. The expectation is that Goedert is going to be removed from the injury report following Friday's practice. He might still be a little banged up, but at this point in the season who is 100 percent healthy. There is no reason to believe that Goedert won't be a full-go for Sunday's big game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Dallas Goedert Practicing In Full Before Super Bowl

Despite not practicing at all last week, Philadelphia Eagles tight ends Dallas Goedert (ankle) returned to a full practice session on Wednesday. TE C.J. Uzomah (abdomen) was also a full-go. It shouldn't come as much of a surprise after the Eagles didn't list Goedert on last Friday's final injury report. They were merely giving the 30-year-old tight end some extra rest in the extra week leading up to Super Bowl LIX. Goedert will be a full-go this Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs and should remain a focal point of Philly's passing attack as the team looks to prevent the Chiefs from winning their third straight Lombardi Trophy. He was also listed with an ankle injury in the week leading up to the NFC Championship against the division-rival Washington Commanders, but he played and caught seven passes for 85 yards. Goedert has been busy with 15 receptions, 188 yards and a score in three postseason games this year.

Dallas Goedert Will Be Good To Go Against Chiefs

Despite not practicing at all this week, Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (ankle, rest) was removed from Friday's final injury report. It means that the Eagles were merely resting their starting tight end this week ahead of next weekend's big game. Fantasy managers should fully expect Goedert to be active for Super Bowl LIX next Sunday, Feb. 9, when the team takes on the Kansas City Chiefs. Goedert also missed two practices last week but was active in the NFC Championship win over the division-rival Washington Commanders and caught seven of eight targets for 85 yards. The 30-year-old has been heavily involved in three playoff wins over the Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams and Commanders, catching 15 of his 18 targets for 188 yards and a touchdown. Expect him to have a big role against KC.

Dallas Goedert Being Rested Again On Thursday

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (ankle, rest) was seen sitting on a heated bench during the team's practice on Thursday and will pick up another DNP for the second straight day this week. Goedert also missed two practices last week before catching seven of his eight targets for 85 yards in the 55-23 victory over the division-rival Washington Commanders in last week's NFC Championship tilt. With an extra week off before Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, Feb. 9, against the Kansas City Chiefs, the 30-year-old veteran will almost certainly be ready to go. But the Eagles could decide to give him the entire week off to rest his ankle and get it closer to 100%. Goedert should be a full-go in the Super Bowl against KC after catching 15 of his 18 targets for 188 yards and a touchdown in three playoff wins over the Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams and Commanders.

Dallas Goedert Sits Out With Ankle Injury

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (ankle, rest) is still listed on the injury report and was a DNP in the first practice of the week on Wednesday. Goedert also missed some practice time last week with an ankle ailment but ended up playing in the NFC Championship win over the division-rival Washington Commanders and really delivered for the Eagles and fantasy managers. Not only did Goedert suit up last weekend, but he caught seven of his eight targets for 85 yards, his second-highest receiving total of the year. With an extra week to rest up and prepare for the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 9, against the Kansas City Chiefs, there's no reason to believe the 30-year-old will not be ready to go by then. Goedert missed more time due to injury during the regular season in 2024 but has been a big part of Philly's passing game in the postseason, catching 15 of 18 targets for 188 yards and a score in three contests.

Dallas Goedert Remains Reliable In Win

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert had another strong performance in the NFC Championship victory over the Washington Commanders. He led the team with seven receptions for 85 yards his highest yardage output since Week 3 of the regular season and added two rushes for 13 yards. Throughout the playoffs, Goedert has been Jalen Hurts' most reliable passing option, averaging five receptions and 62.7 yards per game. His resurgence in the postseason highlights his ability to perform in critical moments, making him a vital part of the Eagles' offensive success. As the Eagles prepare to face the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl, Goedert's versatility and ability to find openings in the defense will be key. Look for him to play another significant role in the biggest game of the season.
