Dallas Goedert Nabs All Five Targets In Week 11 Win

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert caught all five of his targets for 61 yards during the team's 26-18 win over the Washington Commanders on Thursday night. The veteran had a big catch and run of over 30 yards that almost turned into a costly turnover, but backup Grant Calcaterra recovered it. Goedert's 61 yards were the second-highest on the team Thursday behind only A.J. Brown. The Eagles were crushing the Commanders on the ground with Saquon Barkley, leading to another pedestrian performance for the Eagles pass catchers. With that said, by tight end standards this season, Goedert had a solid night and will be a fringe TE1 again next week against the LA Rams.

Dallas Goedert Good To Go For Thursday Night Showdown

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert will take on the Washington Commanders on Thursday night football in Week 11. The 29-year-old made his return to the field last week from a hamstring injury and found the end zone on a limited snap count. He picked up a DNP on Monday in practice with an ankle injury but was left off the final injury report Wednesday and is good to go for Thursday night. Washington is middle of the pack against fantasy tight ends this season, so the matchup should not scare anyone away from starting Goedert. With that said, there is a chance the Eagles will take a run-heavy approach in the contest to keep the high-powered Washington offense off the field as much as possible, potentially leading to a light target share for the veteran. Consider Goedert a fringe TE1 in Week 11.

Dallas Goedert A Limited Participant On Tuesday

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (ankle) was a limited participant in practice on Tuesday. Goedert returned from injury in Week 10 against the Dallas Cowboys and scored a respectable 10.5 fantasy points. He also scored his first touchdown on the season in Week 10. Prior to his injury, Goedert had been one of the best tight ends in fantasy so his return to the lineup is a welcome one for fantasy managers. Goedert draws a solid matchup in Week 11 against the Washington Commanders. Both teams' defenses have improved as the season has gone on but both offenses are potent and should generate a lot of passing attempts. That bodes well for Goedert who is the third option on his team behind wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. Although Goedert was listed as a DNP on Monday, his activity on Tuesday suggests that he should suit up once again in Week 11. He should be a solid fantasy option if healthy.

Dallas Goedert Picks Up A DNP On Monday

The Philadelphia Eagles listed tight end Dallas Goedert (ankle) as a non-participant on Monday's estimated practice report since they didn't actually hold an official practice. Goedert missed three games due to injury but returned in the Week 10 blowout win over the division-rival Dallas Cowboys to catch two of his three targets for 25 yards and a touchdown. With the 29-year-old not reportedly suffering any setbacks on Sunday, he's likely just being rested on a short week before playing again this Thursday night against the division-rival Washington Commanders. Check back on Wednesday for Philly's final injury report before Thursday's game. Goedert is at least in the low-end TE1 conversation when healthy, but volume could be an issue with all of the team's receivers healthy at the moment. If Goedert's ankle is an issue this Thursday, Grant Calcaterra could step into a bigger role again.

Dallas Goedert Scores Touchdown In Return From Injury

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert converted his three targets into two catches for 25 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's Week 10 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Although his volume was quite low, he salvaged his fantasy performance by finding the end zone in Philadelphia's big 34-6 win. The 29-year-old is averaging 12.9 fantasy points per game (PPR) this year and should be treated as a mid-to-low TE1 heading into Week 11 versus the Washington Commanders.

Dallas Goedert Cleared To Return In Week 10

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (hamstring) is off the injury report and expected to return to action in Week 10 to face the Dallas Cowboys. Goedert has been sidelined since sustaining a hamstring injury in the opening quarter during their Week 6 tilt against the Cleveland Browns. In his absence, Grant Calcaterra has been deployed as the No.1 tight end. Before the injury, Goedert averaged an impressive 75.3 yards and 13.5 PPR points per game throughout the first four weeks. Fantasy managers should feel confident inserting Goedert back into their lineup as a safe TE1.

Dallas Goedert Puts In Another Full Practice

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (hamstring) practiced in full for the second straight day this week on Thursday. Goedert injured his hamstring in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns and hasn't played since, but he's been practicing in full this week and appears to be on track to return to action against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys this Sunday in Week 10. It means that Grant Calcaterra is set to go back to backup duties at the position. Although he hasn't played in several weeks, if Goedert is active, he'll be back in play for fantasy managers as a low-end TE1/high-end TE2, especially if receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring) is out or limited. Goedert is tied for 10th among TEs with 8.4 half-PPR points per game in only five games this year, catching 24 of his 29 targets for 301 yards and no touchdowns. The Cowboys have been a top-12 matchup for opposing TEs the last three weeks in fantasy.

Dallas Goedert Practicing In Full On Wednesday

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (hamstring) put in a full practice on Wednesday. Goedert injured his hamstring in Week 6 and hasn't played since, and Wednesday was his first practice session as well. It's an indication that he'll be ready to go to play in this Sunday's divisional clash against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 10. We'll have to see if Goedert can get through the rest of the practice week without suffering a setback, but if he does, he'll be on the low-end TE1/high-end TE2 map for fantasy managers, and he'll have even more upside if receiver A.J. Brown (knee) is unable to play. Grant Calcaterra has had a bigger role the last three weeks with Goedert on the sideline, but he'll lose all of his TE2 streaming intrigue if Goedert is back against Dallas. In the two games before his injury, Goedert had 17 catches on 19 targets for 232 yards and no touchdowns.

Dallas Goedert Returns To Practice Ahead Of Cowboys Matchup

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (hamstring) returned to practice on Wednesday following three consecutive weeks of logging "DNPs." The 29-year-old suffered a hamstring injury in the Week 6 win over the Cleveland Browns and has been sidelined ever since. In the game before his injury, Goedert caught 10 passes for 170 yards, but receiver A.J. Brown was out with a hamstring injury, and DeVonta Smith left the game with a concussion. Brown suffered a knee injury in Week 9, but he could play in Week 10. Goedert has spike-week upside in any game, but his floor is low while sharing an offense with two star wide receivers. If Goedert returns to action on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, consider him a high-end TE2 play with a wide range of outcomes. If he plays but Brown does not, he can be upgraded to a low-end TE1 option for Week 10.

Dallas Goedert Ruled Out For Week 9

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (hamstring) will not play in Week 9. Goedert has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury in the opening frame of their Week 6 tilt against the Cleveland Browns. The 29-year-old has also been unable to practice during this stretch and will now attempt to return to action in Week 10 to face the Dallas Cowboys in a pivotal divisional matchup. Before the injury, Goedert was enjoying a nice start to the season as he averaged a solid 13.5 PPR points per game through the first four weeks Fantasy managers should expect Grant Calcaterra to serve as the top tight end in Philadelphia this weekend and is worth a look in deeper formats as the Jacksonville Jaguars have allowed the 23rd-most PPR points to opposing tight ends this season.
