Dallas Goedert a Late-Round Value in 2026 Drafts

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert was the fantasy TE3 in 2025, but even after an offseason of change left him in a potentially better spot heading into his ninth season, the veteran is regularly falling outside the top 12 of the position and sometimes going undrafted altogether in shallower leagues. The Eagles said goodbye to three-time Pro Bowler A.J. Brown, and while they spent a first-round pick on slot receiver Makai Lemon (hamstring) as part of the plan to replace his production, the rookie has been sidelined by a hamstring injury for much of his first training camp. Goedert could be hard-pressed to repeat his career-high 11 touchdowns from a season ago, but he remains one of the team's most valuable red zone weapons, keeping his ceiling high, while a potentially increased target share would serve to raise his floor. At RotoBaller's TE13, he's one of the more underrated players going at the tail end of 2026 drafts and is particularly attractive in two-tight-end builds.

Dallas Goedert Still Offers Short-Term Fantasy Value

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert is still the starter. That part is not complicated. He caught a career-high 60 passes for 591 yards and 11 touchdowns on 82 targets last season, though fantasy managers should not chase the touchdown total. His previous high was five. Philadelphia brought him back on a one-year deal and then used the 54th overall pick on Eli Stowers. The succession plan is easy to see, but it probably will not arrive in 2026. Goedert enters camp atop the depth chart, and A.J. Brown's departure leaves targets to replace in an offense otherwise led by DeVonta Smith. Hollywood Brown, Dontayvion Wicks, Makai Lemon, and Stowers will all get chances, so another huge scoring season is no lock. RotoBaller has Goedert at TE16 in redraft and TE18 in dynasty, while his current redraft ADP is TE15. That is about right. He is a reasonable late pick for managers who wait at tight end and a useful target for contenders needing a one-year answer. Rebuilders should look elsewhere.

Has Dallas Goedert Become Undervalued by Current Redraft ADP?

Across 15 games in 2025, Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert finished as the TE6 in per-game PPR scoring by recording 60 catches for 591 yards and 11 touchdowns on 82 targets. The 31-year-old's fantasy production was largely fueled by a major spike in touchdown production, which has rightly led to expectations of regression in 2026. Across seven seasons with the Eagles before 2025, Goedert had averaged just 3.4 touchdown catches per season. However, the Eagles traded away star wide receiver A.J. Brown over the offseason and hired a new offensive coordinator in Sean Mannion, both of which could open up the team's passing offense and create more opportunities for Goedert. While fantasy managers should not expect him to repeat his TE6 production from a year ago, Goedert profiles as a value selection at his current redraft ADP of TE15.

Dallas Goedert Back Outside of TE1 Territory for 2026?

While much of the Philadelphia Eagles offense struggled through inconsistency in the 2025 season, tight end Dallas Goedert scored a career-high 11 receiving touchdowns en route to a TE4 finish, more than doubling his previous high from 2019. While he still figures to be a major part of the team's new-look unit, touchdown regression is almost certain to lower his ceiling, and a reworked depth chart has the potential to chip away at what's been a relatively safe fantasy floor for most of his career. While the most notable change to the Eagles' offense is the loss of three-time Pro Bowler A.J. Brown, the team added Hollywood Brown through free agency, traded for Dontayvion Wicks, and spent first and second-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft on Makai Lemon and tight end Eli Stowers. How the distribution of targets now shakes out behind incumbent DeVonta Smith is somewhat up in the air under first-time offensive coordinator Sean Mannion. Mannion is the Eagles' fifth coordinator in as many seasons, but under head coach Nick Sirianni, the team has ranked no higher than 26th by passing percentage. With a potentially lower target share in another low-volume offense, Goedert may not see weekly fantasy viability in 2026, and as such, he is RotoBaller's TE16.

New Opportunity to Buy Low on Dallas Goedert in Dynasty Leagues

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert faces new competition within the position group, and yet he still remains a dynasty riser after his career-best finish (TE7) last season. Goedert had never finished higher than TE10 before last year, but he broke out in a huge way with 60 catches, 591 yards, and a whopping 11 touchdowns. We can expect some natural touchdown regression in 2026, and Goedert probably will lose some volume to rookie tight end Eli Stowers. Nevertheless, he remains a candidate for a large target share, especially after the Eagles traded away A.J. Brown and his 121 vacated targets. It's a contract year for Goedert, and at just 31 years old, he should remain an NFL starter for several years to come, regardless of whether he's in Philadelphia or somewhere else. The Stowers addition has lowered Goedert's cost in dynasty trades, making him an appealing buy-low target this offseason.

Dallas Goedert a Target for Dynasty Managers in Championship Window?

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert is coming off the best fantasy season of his career. Goedert caught 60 passes for 591 yards and a career-high 11 touchdowns en route to ranking as the overall TE7 in PPR leagues. This was the first time in his career that he ever finished higher than TE10 overall. Although it was a terrific season for the 31-year-old, dynasty managers are justified in wondering whether he can repeat his success in 2026. He's a glaring candidate for touchdown regression, and the Eagles also drafted competition in the form of Vanderbilt tight end Eli Stowers. While we expect Goedert to remain atop the depth chart for the whole year, this could very well be his final season in Philadelphia. Goedert signed a one-year extension that allows the two sides to head their separate ways next offseason. With uncertainty surrounding his fantasy outlook for 2027 and beyond, the veteran tight end isn't the safest dynasty target, especially for managers looking to be competitive several years down the road. With that being said, for managers in a win-now window looking to secure a championship title in 2026, Goedert could be a reasonable target. His price tag is cheaper after the Eagles drafted Stowers, and he can still be a top-12 fantasy tight end for at least another year. As it stands, he's the TE12 in RotoBaller's redraft rankings for 2026, and the TE21 in our latest dynasty rankings.

Dallas Goedert a Dynasty Bargain After Flurry of Eagles' Moves

Tight end rooms around the league were shaken up when nine tight ends were selected within the first three rounds of the 2026 NFL Draft, and one of the incumbents who will now have to fend off rookie competition is the Philadelphia Eagles' Dallas Goedert. The Eagles spent the 54th overall pick on Vanderbilt prospect Eli Stowers, making him the second tight end selected in a loaded class. The nine-year veteran Goedert finished 2025 with 591 yards and 11 touchdowns on 60 receptions but will need to reestablish himself among a completely reworked group of pass catchers. With the team expected to trade away A.J. Brown on or shortly after June 1st, Philadelphia added Marquise Brown and Dontayvion Wicks through free agency and trade before spending a first-round pick on USC wide receiver Makai Lemon and a second on Stowers. The good news for the 2018 second-round pick is that with Stowers profiling more as a jumbo slot than a traditional Y-tight end, none of the new additions truly threaten Goedert's existing role. After re-upping on his own one-year deal this offseason, Goedert could still see more involvement than Philadelphia's most recent moves would suggest, making him a short-term bargain for depth-seeking dynasty managers at RotoBaller's TE22.

Dallas Goedert Worth Selling High After Career-Best Campaign?

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert had the best season of his career in 2025, logging career-high marks in catches (60) and touchdowns (11). He also had 591 receiving yards. Goedert ultimately finished as the overall TE7 in PPR leagues, despite missing two games. His big season earned him a one-year contract extension in Philadelphia, where he's the undisputed No. 1 tight end and should maintain a sizable role, especially around the goal line. Goedert's ceiling could climb even higher if the Eagles trade away wide receiver A.J. Brown, because the 31-year-old tight end would assume a lot of his vacated targets. The Eagles are also expected to have an improved offense in 2026 under new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion. The stars are aligning for Goedert to have another top-10 finish in 2026, and there's no disputing that he has top-five upside. However, given that he's 31 and only under contract for one more season, he's worth selling high in dynasty leagues. As it stands, he ranks #22 among tight ends in RotoBaller's latest dynasty rankings.

Eagles Bring Back Dallas Goedert on a One-Year Deal

The Philadelphia Eagles have signed tight end Dallas Goedert to a one-year contract, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com. The two sides had been working hard to reach an agreement for the 2026 season, postponing the void date of his previous contract so they could have more time to negotiate. In the end, Goedert returns to Philadelphia for a ninth season. Not only is he the Eagles' top tight end, but he'll continue to be one of Jalen Hurts' favorite targets. The 31-year-old is coming off the best fantasy season of his career, ranking as the overall TE7 in PPR leagues with 60 catches, 591 yards, and 11 touchdowns. He could be headed for some touchdown regression, but he remains a top-10 fantasy tight end in 2026, especially now that we know how much the Eagles wanted to bring him back. It will be interesting to see how the Eagles' offense evolves from here, as it was previously reported that Goedert's and A.J. Brown's futures are interconnected. It has been implied that Philadelphia can only afford to keep one or the other going forward, so the return of Goedert further reinforces speculation that Brown will be traded this offseason.

Futures of A.J. Brown, Dallas Goedert With Eagles are "Interconnected"

The Philadelphia Eagles have had positive momentum a few times for a potential trade of wide receiver A.J. Brown in recent weeks and days, but nothing has come together. The NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports that the situation with free-agent tight end Dallas Goedert is a big piece of why Brown has yet to be traded. Goedert has a void date in his contract, which, if triggered, would be a $20 million salary cap. It's why the Eagles have pushed back the void date twice on Goedert's contract to buy them more time in Brown trade talks. Garafolo adds that Goedert and Brown are "sort of interconnected." "They can't pay Goedert if they are keeping Brown, and they can't take both cap hits." There isn't any real momentum for a trade of Brown right now, and The Athletic's Dianna Russini reported earlier on Friday that Brown won't be traded at this time. Garafolo thinks general manager Howie Roseman will engage in more trade talks over the weekend. For fantasy purposes, Brown won't necessarily have more upside if the Eagles trade him, but Goedert's fantasy value would become much more stable if he stays and Brown goes.
