Arnold Ebiketie Is A Sleeper Streaming Option For IDP

Atlanta Falcons defensive end Arnold Ebiketie is an under-the-radar streaming option for IDP managers in Week 15, as he and the Falcons take on the less-than-stellar Carolina Panthers. The 1-12 Panthers are allowing an average of 3.9 sacks per game, the fourth-most, and opposing DEs are scoring the eighth-most fantasy points against the Panthers. Ebiketie, who is in his second year, is relatively underutilized in fantasy football. He's a situational pass rusher, and he had a slow start to the season. But he made his first sacks in first sacks in Week 6, and since then, he has made 5.5 sacks in the past eight weeks, including two in the past three games. Ebiketie is boom-bust, but he has a great matchup, and he's available on the waiver wire in most leagues.

Falcons Sign Second-Rounder Arnold Ebiketie

The Atlanta Falcons signed second-round defensive end Arnold Ebiketie to a rookie deal on Wednesday that is estimated to have a total value of $9.69 million while carrying a salary cap hit of $1.76 million in 2022. The Falcons traded their 43rd and 114th overall picks to the New York Giants to move up to No. 38 overall to take Ebiketie. He was the first of two edge rushers that Atlanta took in this year's draft in order to beef up a position of need, with Dante Fowler, Steven Means and Brandon Copeland no longer on the team. Ebiketie is expected to play a key rotational pass-rushing role for the Falcons in his rookie year, and he could eventually become a starter if he plays well.
