Dontayvion Wicks Fantasy

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks caught 2-of-4 targets for 40 yards and a touchdown during the team's 25-24 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. The rookie led the team in receiving yards in Week 2 and made an impressive play where he broke a tackle and took it to the house on a 32-yard touchdown reception. Wicks had an increased role this week with Christian Watson (hamstring) missing his second game in a row, but he did outproduce starter Romeo Doubs. The 22-year-old only needs to be paid attention to in dynasty leagues at the moment, but keep an eye on him if the Packers continue to struggle to keep receivers healthy throughout the season. Wicks will not be a viable fantasy option next week against New Orleans.

University of Virginia wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks (hip) tweaked his hip flexor while running the 40-yard dash at the NFL combine in Indianapolis on Saturday and shut it down for the day, according to a source. The good news is that his injury isn't considered serious, so it shouldn't negatively affect his draft stock in April. He ran an official 4.62-second 40-yard dash before shutting things down for the day. Wicks was mostly used as a field-stretcher in college due to his speed down the field, but he dropped 23.1 percent of his targets in 2022, which was among the highest among college receivers with at least 50 targets last year.
