Tennessee Titans wide receiver Michael Campanaro has really impressed during organized team activities and has adjusted well to his new team. Campanaro was mostly a special teams player in his four years with the Ravens, catching only 31 passes for 310 yards and two touchdowns, so he's a long shot to carve out fantasy relevance with his new team. However, he could be an option in the slot if he beats out Taywan Taylor and Tajae Sharpe.
The Tennessee Titans agreed to a one-year deal with free-agent wide receiver/kick returner Michael Campanaro on Tuesday. Campanaro averaged 11.4 yards on 37 punt returns and 26.4 yards on nine kick returns in four seasons with the Ravens. He also had 31 catches for 310 yards and two touchdowns in his short career. The 27-year-old is versatile but will mainly be receiver depth and a special teams option for Tennessee, leaving him very little room for fantasy value on a run-first squad.
Free-agent wide receiver Michael Campanaro, who has remained in contact with the Baltimore Ravens, is on a free-agent visit with the Tennessee Titans on Thursday. Campanaro can be an option on offense and special teams, but he's also caught just 31 passes for 310 yards and two touchdowns in his four seasons with the Ravens since 2014. He's unlikely to suddenly become a fantasy weapon, especially if he lands with a run-first team like the Titans.
Ravens Could Re-Sign Mike Wallace, Michael Campanaro
Baltimore Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome is not ruling out re-signing wide receivers Mike Wallace and Michael Campanaro. The team has had talks with both players. The veteran Wallace was one of Baltimore's most consistent pass catchers in an atrocious group last season, hauling in 52 passes for 748 yards and four touchdowns. However, with Baltimore already adding wideouts Michael Crabtree and John Brown in free agency, Wallace's ceiling would be considerably lower for fantasy owners if he returns. Campanaro had only 19 receptions for 173 yards and a touchdown in 13 games and has never been a fantasy option.
The Baltimore Ravens are interested in re-signing wide receiver/kick returner Michael Campanaro. He led the AFC in punt returns in 2017 but had just 19 catches for 173 yards and a touchdown in 13 games. Campanaro isn't worthwhile to fantasy owners unless you're in an extremely deep league that counts return yardage.
Michael Campanaro With A Touchdown Versus Indianapolis
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Michael Campanaro caught two passes for 21 yards and a touchdown to go with one rush for nine yards in Week 16. The touchdown helped his fantasy output for the game become noticeable. He has not been much of a factor in the majority of the games in 2017 but the touchdown made him noteworthy for this week. He is not a recommended option for Week 17 versus Cincinnati.
Terrance West, Michael Campanaro Inactive Monday Night
Baltimore Ravens running back Terrance West (calf) and wide receiver Michael Campanaro are both inactive Monday night against the Houston Texans in Week 12. West is nearing 100 percent health, but he hasn't played since Oct. 8 and remains fourth on the running back depth chart. He should remain on waiver wires in all leagues. Campanaro is a healthy scratch and hasn't caught a pass since Oct. 22. He has only 12 receptions on the year for 91 yards and remains firmly off the fantasy radar.
Baltimore Ravens running back Terrance West (calf) and wide receiver Michael Campanaro (shoulder) didn't practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 9 against the Titans. Neither player is fantasy relevant, and West has now missed the last four games due to injury after starting the year as the team's main running back. Baltimore's backfield continues to be led by Javorius Allen and Alex Collins, although Danny Woodhead could make his return in the next couple of weeks.
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Michael Campanaro (shoulder) missed practice all week and is doubtful to play Thursday night against Miami. Campanaro has failed to take advantage of a nice opportunity with three of Baltimore's other receivers injured, and he has only 12 catches for 91 scoreless yards this season. Campanaro should remain firmly on the waiver wire in most leagues. In the midst of the Ravens' banged-up receiver group, Chris Moore could benefit again against the Dolphins on Thursday Night Football.
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Michael Campanaro (ankle) was added to the injury report Friday with limited practice participation, and he is listed as questionable for Week 2 against the Browns. Campanaro is mainly a special teams guy for Baltimore as a returner, but he could see his role increase in the passing game on offense with Danny Woodhead (hamstring) on Injured Reserve. Joe Flacco even mentioned Campanaro as a weapon that could be useful. Until we see it happen, though, Campanaro is not a fantasy factor. Javorius Allen is a better bet to be used out of the backfield.
