The New Orleans Saints have released running back Terrance West, according to the NFL Network. West racked up 36 yards on seven carries over two preseason games, including a 21-yard run. The team appears to be favoring youth and running back Jonathan Williams has continued to impress in camp. The team is looking for a player to combo with Alvin Kamara while Mark Ingram serves his suspension to begin the season. West enjoyed his best season in 2016 when he racked up six total touchdowns and 1,010 all-purpose yards for the Ravens. West surely will get a look with another team at some point this season.
The New Orleans Saints are signing free-agent running back Terrance West on Wednesday, according to a source. West dealt with injuries last season and ran just 39 times for 138 yards and two touchdowns in five games for the Ravens. He'll compete for a backup role to give the Saints depth with Mark Ingram suspended to start the 2018 season. West won't be a fantasy option to begin the year.
Free-agent running back Terrance West will visit the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday, according to a source. West would just be a depth signing to open the season with Mark Ingram slated to be suspended for the first four games. In just five games for Baltimore in 2017, West had 39 carries for 138 yards and two touchdowns. He won't be fantasy relevant even if he signs with the Saints.
Baltimore Ravens running back Terrance West is active for Week 16 against the Colts on Saturday. It's West's first active game since Oct. 8 against the Raiders. Even while active, don't expect to see West see many touches, if any, behind Alex Collins and Javorius Allen. West remains firmly off the fantasy radar.
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman is inactive for Sunday's Week 13 game versus the Lions. Running backĀ Terrance West, cornerback Jaylen Hill, guard Jermaine Eluemunor, guard Maurquice Shakir, defensive end Bronson Kaufusi and defensive end Chris Wormley have also been declared inactive for Sunday's game. This is the second time in three weeks that Perriman has been a healthy scratch. He has struggled mightily during his third season in the league, catching just seven passes for 54 yards on the year. Unable to crack the lineup on a roster that has a need for playmaking ability, Perriman takes another step closer to be a complete bust of a prospect for the Ravens.
Terrance West, Michael Campanaro Inactive Monday Night
Baltimore Ravens running back Terrance West (calf) and wide receiver Michael Campanaro are both inactive Monday night against the Houston Texans in Week 12. West is nearing 100 percent health, but he hasn't played since Oct. 8 and remains fourth on the running back depth chart. He should remain on waiver wires in all leagues. Campanaro is a healthy scratch and hasn't caught a pass since Oct. 22. He has only 12 receptions on the year for 91 yards and remains firmly off the fantasy radar.
Baltimore Ravens running back Terrance West (calf) practiced in full all week but is questionable for Week 12 on Monday night against the Texans. West is nearing full health but remained inactive last weekend. There just doesn't seem to be room for him on the active game-day roster with Danny Woohead back in the picture. West is fourth on the running back depth chart right now and should remain on all waiver wires.
Baltimore Ravens running back Terrance West (calf) is inactive for Week 11 against the Packers. West is finally returning to full health, but he picked a bad time to do so with fellow running back Danny Woodhead (hamstring) active this weekend for the first time since the season opener. It confirms that West is last on the running back depth chart after opening the season as the lead back. He needs to be left on the waiver wire.
Baltimore Ravens Running Back Terrance West (calf) is likely to suit up against the Green Bay Packers. West has been dealing with the calf issue and has missed around a month of action as a result. However, offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg was adamant that running back Alex Collins would remain the featured back. Nonetheless, even is West does see some action, it likely won't be enough to make him fantasy relevant on Sunday.
Baltimore Ravens running back Terrance West (calf) is listed as questionable for Week 11 against the Packers. West has become the forgotten man in Baltimore's backfield after opening the season as the starter. He hasn't played in a game since Oct. 8 against the Raiders and has picked a bad time to get healthy with fellow running back Danny Woodhead (hamstring) expected to come off Injured Reserve and play this weekend. West is fourth on the RB depth chart and is not a fantasy option.
