MyCole Pruitt News
Atlanta Falcons tight end MyCole Pruitt found the end zone in the team's 30-17 Week 18 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The veteran tight end caught three of five targets for 34 receiving yards against Tampa Bay. He scored 10.9 half-point PPR fantasy points in the game, a season-high. Furthermore, Pruitt's five targets were the third-most on the team, only behind Drake London (eight) and Olamide Zaccheaus (seven). Since taking over for an injured Kyle Pitts (knee), the veteran has averaged six fantasy points per game, scoring three touchdowns. Pruitt ended the year with four receiving touchdowns, the most on the team, despite having only 16 receptions this season.
Atlanta Falcons tight end MyCole Pruitt has taken over as the starter with Kyle Pitts (knee) out for the year. The veteran tight end has averaged five half-point PPR fantasy points per game since replacing Pitts as the starter. While he had a season-high 49 receiving yards last week against the Arizona Cardinals, Pruitt scored three total fantasy points over the previous two contests. Meanwhile, the veteran has a solid matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week. The NFC South division winners have surrendered 11.1 fantasy points per game to tight ends this season, the eighth-most in the NFL. Furthermore, the Buccaneers have given up four receiving touchdowns to tight ends over the past six weeks. Pruitt isn't an ideal starter for season-long leagues, but a decent cheap DFS option for Week 18.
Atlanta Falcons tight end MyCole Pruitt had his best performance this year in the team's 20-19 Week 17 win over the Arizona Cardinals. The veteran tight end had only four targets in the game. However, he caught all four for 49 receiving yards, scoring 6.9 half-point PPR fantasy points in the win. More importantly, his 49 receiving yards led the team in Week 17. Pruitt has been solid since taking over as the starting tight end for an injured Kyle Pitts (knee). Yet, it hasn't turned into meaningful fantasy production, averaging only five fantasy points per game over the past five contests. Next week the Falcons face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a meaningless game for both squads. Maybe he can find the end zone for the fourth time this season.
