Nick Folk News
Tennessee Titans kicker Nick Folk (abdomen) has been ruled out for the Week 18 matchup against the Houston Texans. Folk will now miss his third game in a row due to an abdominal issue. He'll finish the season nearly perfect on his kicks. Folk made 25-of-25 extra point attempts and 21-of-22 field goal attempts during his 14 games with the Titans this season. The 40-year-old will be a free agent this offseason, but he shouldn't have any issues finding another opportunity, assuming he wants to continue his career. Matthew Wright will kick for the Titans for the regular season finale. He made all three of his kicks during last week's game.

Nick Folk Logs Limited Session Thursday
Tennessee Titans kicker Nick Folk (abdomen) was a limited participant during Thursday's practice. This was an improvement for the 40-year-old after being estimated as a non-participant on Wednesday. Folk kicked in each of the Titans' first 14 games this season, but he has missed the last two contests due to injury. His return to practice on Thursday comes one day after the Titans released Matthew Wright from their active roster. All signs point to Folk suiting up for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Houston Texans.

Nick Folk Estimated As Non-Participant Wednesday
Tennessee Titans kicker Nick Folk (abdomen) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimation. The veteran kicker has missed two consecutive games due to injury and now faces an uphill battle to play in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Houston Texans. It's an unfortunate ending to what had been an otherwise solid season for Folk. Through 14 games, the 40-year-old went 25-for-25 on extra points and 21-for-22 on field goals. Tennessee has no other kickers on its roster after waiving Matthew Wright, so it's unclear who would handle kicking duties if Folk can't suit up in Week 18.

Nick Folk Unavailable For Week 17
Tennessee Titans kicker Nick Folk (abdomen) has been ruled out for the Week 17 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Folk hasn't been able to practice this week due to an abdominal issue which will force him to miss his second straight game. The expectation is that Matthew Wright will be elevated from the practice squad to kick this weekend. Brayden Narveson kicked last week for Tennessee, but was cut after he missed his lone field goal attempt. Wright has made 11-of-12 field goal attempts and all his extra point attempts in three games between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs. He has been productive when active, so fantasy managers looking for a possible streaming option might want to consider Wright.

Nick Folk Sidelined Again On Thursday
According to Turron Davenport of ESPN, Tennessee Titans kicker Nick Folk (abdomen) did not practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Folk did not suit up last weekend and is in danger of missing his second-straight contest. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on his status on Friday in case he is able to practice in some capacity. However, the 40-year-old will likely face an uphill battle to return to action this weekend. Across 14 games this season, Folk has posted an impressive 95.5% FG conversion rate and has gone a perfect 25-for-25 on extra points. Brayden Narveson will get the starting nod if Folk cannot play on Sunday. However, given the inconsistencies of the Tennessee offense, both kickers should not be in your starting lineup in the fantasy playoffs.

Nick Folk Not Playing In Week 16
Tennessee Titans kicker Nick Folk (abdomen) is officially inactive in Week 16 against the division-rival Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Folk was unable to practice on Wednesday and Thursday before putting in a limited session on Friday, but he will not be active for Tennessee this weekend. Instead, rookie Brayden Narveson was signed from the practice squad to the 53-man active roster on Saturday in order to take over kicking duties in Tennessee for the week. Fantasy managers that had been using the 40-year-old Folk will obviously need to look in another direction. You can probably do better than Narveson, who made 12 of his 17 field-goal attempts and all 16 of his extra-point chances in six games with the Green Bay Packers earlier this year in his first NFL action.

Nick Folk Will Be Game-Time Decision In Week 16
Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan said that kicker Nick Folk (abdomen) will be a game-time decision for Sunday's contest versus the division-rival Indianapolis Colts in Week 16. For insurance in case he can't go, the team plans to bring up Brayden Narveson from the practice squad to the active 53-man roster for the weekend. The 40-year-old veteran has been basically automatic this year for a lackluster Titans offense, but he apparently came out of the Week 15 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals with an injury and may not be able to kick in Week 16. Folk has made 21 of his 22 field-goal tries in 2024 and has been successful on all 25 of his extra-point tries as well. However, because of his injury and in an offense that will start Mason Rudolph at quarterback this weekend, fantasy managers will want to avoid Folk. UPDATE: Folk is officially questionable for Week 16.

Nick Folk A Full-Go In Thursday's Practice
Tennessee Titans kicker Nick Folk (groin) was a full-go in the team's practice on Thursday, one day after he was listed as a non-participant due to a groin injury. The Titans signed kicker Brayden Narveson to their practice squad on Wednesday, signaling that there was uncertainty as to whether Folk would be able to kick in Week 15 against the Cincinnati Bengals. The 40-year-old veteran still isn't guaranteed to play this weekend, but a return to a full practice after a DNP on Wednesday is definitely a good sign. Folk was Tennessee's entire offense in last Sunday's 10-6 loss to the division-rival Jacksonville Jaguars, making his only two field-goal attempts. Folk enters Week 15 action as the No. 18 fantasy kicker in terms of overall points and should be avoided in most leagues, even though the matchup against Cincy is a nice one. His 22 FG attempts on the year have him tied for 22nd among all kickers in 2024.

Nick Folk Logs A DNP On Wednesday
Tennessee Titans kicker Nick Folk (groin) was listed as a non-participant for his team's first practice of the week. The 40-year-old has been near-automatic this season for Tennessee, knocking through every kick but one -- a field goal attempt -- through 13 games. Folk made both of his kicks in Sunday's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars but apparently picked up a groin injury during the contest. While the severity of the ailment is unknown, the Titans did sign kicker Brayden Narveson to their practice squad. Folk will have a few more opportunities to prove his health before Tennessee's meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 15. Still, they are hedging their bets, which means the journeyman kicker could be on the wrong side of his current designation. If he can't play, Narveson would assuredly be called upon in his stead.
Dec 12
Nick Folk Dealing With Injury
Tennessee Titans kicker Nick Folk (undisclosed) could be in danger of missing the Week 15 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. The veteran kicker is currently dealing with an injury, according to Mike Garafolo. That being said, the Titans have signed Brayden Narveson to their practice squad as insurance in case Folk is unable to go this weekend. Folk has been extremely reliable as a kicker this season with only one missed field goal heading into Week 15. His absence would certainly be frustrating especially given the fact that many leagues are beginning the playoffs this week. However, fantasy managers will have to wait until later in the week for more news on Folk.
