Peyton Hendershot Fantasy

Dallas Cowboys tight end Peyton Hendershot wasn't very involved in the team's second preseason contest against the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday night. In the 22-14 loss, Henderson caught one of his two targets for just seven yards. Hendershot caught 11 of his 16 targets for 103 yards and two touchdowns in 17 games (two starts) in his rookie season last year. Undrafted rookie John Stephens (knee) suffered a season-ending torn ACL in the same game, so Hendershot looks to be third on Dallas' tight end depth chart entering the regular season behind Jake Ferguson and rookie Luke Schoonmaker. Hendershot is well off the fantasy radar in 2023 in a depth role for the Cowboys for the second straight year.

Dallas Cowboys tight end Peyton Hendershot delivered a two-yard touchdown rush on his lone touch during Thursday's win over the New York Giants. The 23-year-old has been used sporadically throughout the season, racking up 83 receiving yards, two rushing yards, and two touchdowns over the course of 11 games. He still remains a depth option behind Dalton Schultz and Jake Ferguson and should be left on waivers in all leagues.

Dallas Cowboys rookie tight end Peyton Hendershot scored his first NFL touchdown in a Week 7 win over the Detroit Lions. Hendershot played clearly behind starter Dalton Schultz, but was in the right place at the right time for Dak Prescott's only touchdown pass of the day. In total, Hendershot was targeted two times, catching both for a total of five yards. He's shown the ability to play well when given chances, but he won't have any fantasy relevance unless Schultz is forced to miss more time.
