Cardinals Add Andre Baccellia, Pharoh Cooper To Active Roster
The Cardinals added wide receivers Andre Baccellia and Pharoh Cooper to the active roster for the Week 12 meeting with the Los Angeles Chargers. Both men have seen limited action outside of practice squads throughout their careers, combining for 63 catches for 564 yards and a touchdown. Rondale Moore (groin) has already been ruled out ahead of the matchup against L.A.. While Greg Dortch (thumb) is questionable, the additions of Cooper and Baccellia makes it probable he won't play either. In addition, Marquise Brown (ankle), who was activated from the injured reserve list on Saturday following a five-game absence, could be on a snap count on Sunday, so Cooper and Baccellia may see a few looks from Kyler Murray, with the former being more likely to get involved. Yet, neither man is worth an add in any fantasy format.
The Carolina Panthers signed wide receiver Pharoh Cooper to an undisclosed one-year deal on Friday. Cooper was a fourth-round pick of the Rams in 2016 and earned All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors in 2017 as a returner with 932 yards and a touchdown on 34 kickoffs, as well as 399 yards on 32 punt returns. Last year with the Cardinals he caught a career-high 25 passes for 234 yards and his first NFL touchdown in 12 games played as receiver depth. He'll function as receiver depth in Carolina, too, and at the very least will fill a need as a return specialist. Unless injuries open up consistent targets in the passing game for Cooper, he can probably be avoided in most fantasy leagues that don't count return yardage.
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Pharoh Cooper has caught nine passes for 90 yards and a touchdown in the last three games. It's not enough for a waiver claim yet, but he's worth keeping an eye on.
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Pharoh Cooper was second on the team with four catches in Week 13. However, he only mustered 26 yards against the Los Angeles Rams. He had three catches for 35 yards last week. Cooper is starting to scratch the surface, but he hasn't been productive enough for a waiver claim just yet.
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Pharoh Cooper snuck into the box score before the bye week with three grabs for 35 yards and a touchdown. He didn't do much up to that point, but he did have five targets in the previous game. The Cards don't have a third wide receiver or a tight end to rely upon, which gives him, Andy Isabella, Keesean Johnson, Damiere Byrd and Trent Sherfield an opportunity. None of the others have seized said opportunity. However, you can't trust that Cooper will take the bull by the horns either. Keep him on the watch list against the Los Angeles Rams.
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver/kick returner Pharoh Cooper (ankle) has been designated to return from Injured Reserve. Cooper will begin practicing with the team this week and they have three weeks to activate him. He returned two punts and three kickoffs in one game before injuring his ankle. He's unlikely to factor in on offense with Cooper Kupp (knee) out for the year, but Cooper is an All-Pro returner that will definitely boost the special teams when he's back.
The Los Angeles Rams feature multiple reigning All-Pros on their roster. Unfortunately for them, one of them has spent nearly every game on Injured Reserve in the form of return specialist Pharoh Cooper (ankle). He's become eligible to return to the team, but the returners they have in place have performed very well in his stead. Cooper can make a big play happen in the blink of an eye and while the Rams have had good play from these two, Cooper is an All-Pro at two positions for a reason. He can give this team a boost, and that can boost the defense's value in fantasy. They've struggled on that side of the ball this season due to injuries, but Cooper can help them get back to the level that they were expected to be at before the season started.
The Los Angeles Rams placed wide receiver and kick returner Pharoh Cooper (ankle) on Injured Reserve on Wednesday. Cooper will be eligible to return after eight weeks. Losing the All-Pro kick returner is a big loss for the Rams special teams, but it shouldn't stop you from rolling out the team's defense/special teams every week.
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Pharoh Cooper (ankle) "might be out for some time," according to head coach Sean McVay. It's sounding like Cooper may need to undergo surgery. Cooper is mainly a special teams kick returner, so while he doesn't have individual fantasy value, his loss could affect the return game a bit. LA's defense/special teams still remains an elite unit.
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Pharoh Cooper (ankle) left the game early in the fourth quarter in Week 1 against the Raiders on Monday night and is questionable to return. Cooper is the team's main kick returner, so he doesn't have any fantasy value unless you're in a league that counts return yardage. Even then, Cooper isn't much to look at.
