Rob Havenstein Signs Three-Year Extension With Rams
The Los Angeles Rams signed offensive tackle Rob Havenstein to a three-year, $34.5 million extension on Wednesday. The deal includes $24.1 million guaranteed. He started 99 games with Los Angeles during his career and will continue to protect quarterback Matthew Stafford through 2025. His presence on the offensive line should only help the Rams' offense. Havenstein started 15 games in 2021 and is arguably one of the Rams' top linemen, with Andrew Whitworth retiring this offseason.
Rob Havenstein Activated from PUP, Bolsters Rams' Offensive Line
Sophomore tackle Rob Havenstein has been activated off the PUP list and is expected to be ready for the season opener. Last season, Havenstein graded as the best rookie tackle in the league. According to Pro Football Focus, Havenstein was the only tackle last season to play in 12 or more games and not give up a single sack. His return will improve an offensive line that is already performing well in the preseason. This will only improve the value of Todd Gurley, as he should see bigger lanes with a healthy offensive line.
