Derick Brassard News
Ottawa Senators forward Derick Brassard will be back in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Kings. He returns after spending two games in the press box, replacing Dylan Gambrell. Brassard has flirted with 60-point campaigns multiple times in his career, but these times are sadly well behind us. The 35-year-old tallied only 19 points in 46 games last season, and the 2022-23 campaign hasn't gone much better for him either, with Brassard collecting three goals and three assists in 16 games. He will center the third line Tuesday night.
Philadelphia Flyers forward Derick Brassard (hip) could be back in the lineup next week when the team returns to action on Dec. 29 against Seattle. He's missed five games with a hip strain and has played just once since Nov. 23. The veteran has done well when healthy this season, going for 11 points in 18 games with 22 shots and 28 hits. Brassard had just started to log some nice minutes in the top six before getting injured. However, getting back his spot might be difficult once the season resumes and everybody manages to stay healthy.
Philadelphia Flyers forward Derick Brassard will have to settle for a seat in the press box on Friday against Vegas. The veteran returned from a hip injury earlier in the week and it appears that the team is trying to take it easy with him. Brassard logged 14:20 in Wednesday's 3-0 loss to New Jersey and was minus-one for the contest with two hits. The 34-year-old is traveling with the team on a three-game road trip, so it's possible that he can get back to action on Saturday against Arizona. He's notched 11 points in 18 appearances this season with 22 shots and 28 hits.
Philadelphia Flyers forward Derick Brassard (hip) will be back from a six-game absence on Wednesday against New Jersey. The 34-year-old had a nice spell as the second-line center just before getting injured, but he re-enters the lineup as a winger on the fourth line. Brassard has notched 11 points in 17 games this season, firing off 22 shots and delivering 26 hits. Philadelphia will try to snap a nine-game losing streak, with interim head coach Mike Yeo no doubt looking for a big effort from all of his lines.
