Emil Lilleberg Fantasy Stats

Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Emil Lilleberg (undisclosed) won't be in action for approximately one week, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports. He suffered an undisclosed injury in Saturday's win over Washington and will exit the lineup on Monday against Philadelphia. Lilleberg's absence will allow Maxwell Crozier to make his season debut as the Lightning continue to roll with seven defensemen. While Crozier has shown some potential, he isn't expected to make a fantasy impact in a third-pairing role.

Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Emil Lilleberg (face) is expected to miss approximately two weeks due to a facial fracture, the team announced. He sustained the injury during Wednesday's practice and will be unavailable for a third straight game on Sunday against the Buffalo Sabres. Lilleberg has appeared in 35 games for the Lightning this season, recording six points (two goals, four assists), 28 shots, 33 blocks, 60 hits, and a plus-10 rating. Declan Carlile has seen action on the blue line during Lilleberg's absence, but he isn't a recommended fantasy pickup.

Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Emil Lilleberg (undisclosed) was limited to 13:30 of ice time in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to the New York Islanders. He missed the third period, leaving the Lightning without another blue-liner. Victor Hedman (shoulder), Ryan McDonagh (undisclosed), and Erik Cernak (undisclosed) all missed Saturday's game. Lilleberg's offensive contributions have been limited to two goals and four assists in 32 games this season. However, he is second on the team with 53 hits and averages a block per game. Due to Tampa's current injury situation, Darren Raddysh, J.J. Moser, and Charle-Edouard D'Astous are logging big minutes on the blue line.

Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Emil Lilleberg has received a two-game suspension. The NHL Department of Player Safety announced that Lilleberg has been suspended for two games for interference against Detroit Red Wings forward J.T. Compher in Saturday's 2-0 loss. The suspension will keep Lilleberg sidelined for Tuesday's game against the Chicago Blackhawks and Thursday's tilt against the Los Angeles Kings. Lilleberg has recorded 11 assists with 80 hits in 45 appearances this season. Tampa Bay will need to call up a defenseman from the minors to replace Lilleberg on Tuesday.
