Jaret Anderson-Dolan Recovering From A Broken Foot

Winnipeg Jets center Jaret Anderson-Dolan is recovering from a broken foot. Jets head coach Scott Arniel revealed the news on Tuesday. The 25-year-old was placed on Injured Reserve last week with an undisclosed injury, and now we know the exact nature of the ailment. This also means that Anderson-Dolan won't make his season debut anytime soon. "We're not even close on that one yet," Arniel said regarding Anderson-Dolan. Even when he's ready to return, the Calgary-born forward likely won't play a large role with the Jets. Following stints with the Los Angeles Kings and Nashville Predators, Anderson-Dolan sits on 28 points (15 goals, 13 assists) through 127 career games.

Jaret Anderson-Dolan Pops Up With Two Big Goals

Los Angeles Kings forward Jaret Anderson-Dolan was an unlikely hero Sunday against Chicago as he scored both goals in a 2-1 win. He put the team 2-0 up before Ian Mitchell provided a late consolation goal for the Blackhawks. Anderson-Dolan has only five goals and three assists for the season, but he has found himself in a bigger role lately and finally made use of the extra minutes Sunday. He has started to skate with Blake Lizotte and Kevin Fiala, who leads the team with 33 assists and 49 points, so Anderson-Dolan finds himself in a situation where his second half of the season should be a lot more productive compared to the first.
