Winnipeg Jets winger Jansen Harkins is set to join the second line for Sunday's matchup against the Avalanche. He will replace Zach Sanford (undisclosed). Harkins typically plays very little and even logged just 4:31 in Thursday's 4-2 loss to Carolina, so this is a major move for the 24-year-old. He'll have an opportunity to impress while skating with Pierre-Luc Dubois and Winnipeg's top scorer Kyle Connor. Harkins sits on seven goals and 10 points in 73 games for the season ahead of Sunday's action.

Ottawa Senators left-winger Zach Sanford scored three times on three shots Monday versus Colorado. In a losing effort, he more than doubled his goal output in just 15:15 of ice time. Sanford was credited with three scoring chances as he converted on each one of them. This puts the left-winger on a hot-streak of sorts as Sanford has now scored five goals in his last five games. Ottawa next plays in San Jose late on Wednesday night with Sanford likely to see a bit more ice time.
