Minnesota Twins infielder Adam Rosales has been traded to the Cleveland Indians in exchange for cash considerations. Rosales has not played in the MLB this season, but that could change quickly. However, Rosales was hitting .194/.263/.222 in Triple-A, so he wasn't off to the best start. The Indians will send Rosales to Triple-A, and if he hits better then he could see some playing time in Cleveland. He is not on the fantasy radar right now.

The Arizona Diamondbacks acquired infielder Adam Rosales on Monday in exchange for minor league pitcher Jeferson Mejia. Arizona is scrambling for an extra infielder after the injury to Chris Owings (finger) and with shortstop Ketel Marte out on bereavement leave. Rosales is strictly a temporary move for shortstop depth, as the former A's infielder was hitting only .234 with four homers and 27 RBI in 205 at-bats. He can be ignored for fantasy purposes except for the deepest of NL-only leagues. The departure of Rosales in Oakland clears the way for Chad Pinder to serve in a utility role and as Marcus Semien's direct backup.
