Bryce Eldridge Riding Dominant Stretch at Triple-A, Remains High-End Stash Option

San Francisco first base prospect Bryce Eldridge remains an elite stash option in all standard formats in Week 3 of the fantasy campaign. The team's top hitting prospect was in strong contention to break camp with the MLB roster but fell just short. However, since returning to Triple-A Sacramento, Eldridge has been playing at an elite level and is quickly making a strong case to return to San Francisco. Over his last three games, Eldridge has tallied at least two hits in each contest and has even hit the three-hit mark in each of his last two. Since April 1 (six games), the former 16th overall selection has carried an elite .416/.512/.639 line with five doubles and a round-tripper. While he posted a modest .107/.297/.179 line during his brief taste of the majors last summer, his dominant play at Triple-A makes him a prime stash candidate in all standard 12-team leagues.

Bryce Eldridge Remains Priority Hitting Prospect to Stash

San Francisco Giants first base prospect Bryce Eldridge remains a high-priority hitting prospect to stash. Eldridge was in serious contention to break camp with the MLB roster but ultimately fell short in the competition for the first base/DH job. However, given that Eldridge reached the majors last season and played at a high level in the minor leagues, he should be in the mix to return to San Francisco very early in the 2026 campaign. Through his first 10 games at Triple-A this season, Eldridge has held a .250/.438/.333 line with a .771 OPS. While he has yet to go deep, he has tallied three doubles while holding a 16:9 K:BB. In 2025, Eldridge launched 25 home runs over 104 MiLB contests while posting an .843 OPS. Currently, the Giants are relying on Casey Schmitt at first base, but he has posted a modest .739 OPS through nine games. Given Eldridge's high-power skill set, he should be viewed as a top stash candidate as he would possess nearly 20-HR as soon as he earns the call.

Bryce Eldridge Making Strong Case to Return to Major Leagues

San Francisco Giants first base prospect Bryce Eldridge continues to make a strong case to return to the major leagues in the near future. After a modest showing in spring training where the former 16th overall pick posted a low .225 AVG, the Giants opted to send him to Triple-A Sacramento to further his development. However, over his first five contests, Eldridge has posted a strong .278/.500/.333 line with a double and a 6:5 K:BB. The young slugger made his MLB debut in the second half of the 2025 campaign but held a low .107 AVG with a .476 OPS over a brief 10-game stint. Additionally, Eldridge carries high-end stash value as the Giants have not had consistent production at first base, especially when Rafael Devers serves as the DH. Currently, Casey Schmitt has taken on first base duties and has gone hitless in four of his seven starts. Given his high-end raw power and clear path to playing time, Eldridge carries high-end stash priority in all leagues ahead of Week 2.

Bryce Eldridge a Top Stash Candidate in Week 1?

San Francisco Giants first base prospect Bryce Eldridge should remain on the fantasy radar in the early part of 2026, as the Giants' top-ranked prospect has some of the biggest power potential in the minors. The 6-foot-7 slugger blasted 25 home runs between Double-A and Triple-A last year in just 100 games, and although he was left off the club's Opening Day roster, he'll likely be back in the majors sometime in the first half of the season. The left-handed slugger carries some batting average risk with the amount of swing-and-miss that comes with his power stroke, but managers who are looking for a home-run boost should keep the former first-round draft pick top of mind, and he should be a top stash candidate in deeper leagues as the regular season gets underway.

Bryce Eldridge Launches Home Run in Exhibition Game

San Francisco Giants first base prospect Bryce Eldridge went 2-for-3 with a home run during an exhibition game on Sunday. The team's top hitting prospect was left off the opening Day roster but turned in a nice showing over the weekend. During spring training, Eldridge continued to showcase his power, hitting four doubles with a home run, but struck out 19 times over 40 at-bats and will head to Triple-A Sacramento to further his development. Last season, Eldridge spent a brief 10-game stint in San Francisco and held a modest .100/.297/.179 line. He spent most of his season with Triple-A, where he carried a .249/.322/.514 line with a .836 OPS, over a 66-game stint. Managers should continue to monitor his progression at Triple-A, as he could be in the mix for an early return to San Francisco.

Bryce Eldridge to Contribute Later in the Season

San Francisco Giants first base prospect Bryce Eldridge won't make the 2026 Opening Day roster, but the team expects him to contribute in the majors later this season, according to Justice delos Santos of The Mercury News. Eldridge got a small taste of big-league action last year, slashing .107/.297/.179 with an 18.9% walk rate and 35.1% strikeout rate. He has posted similarly high walk and strikeout rates this spring while slashing .225/.380/.450 with one home run, six RBI, and 118 wRC+. The Giants evidently have no interest in rushing Eldridge into a full-time role before he's ready, so he'll start the year at Triple-A and continue to develop there until the Giants are ready to call him up again. Upon returning to the majors, he'd presumably split time between first base and designated hitter.

Bryce Eldridge Heading to Minor-League Camp

San Francisco Giants first base prospect Bryce Eldridge is being sent to minor-league camp on Thursday, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. Officially, Eldridge was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento despite having an .830 OPS with six RBI and eight runs scored in his 19 Cactus League games this spring. The 21-year-old left-handed slugger also struck out in 19 of his 40 at-bats, so he clearly has some stuff to work on down on the farm to start the 2026 regular season. He'll play first base at Sacramento, but Eldridge will probably be more of a full-time designated hitter whenever he reaches the majors with Rafael Devers entrenched at first. Eldridge got a cup of coffee in the big leagues last year in 10 games, going 3-for-28 (.107) with no homers, four RBI, seven walks, and 13 strikeouts. He had 25 homers in 102 minor-league games before that, but he also dealt with wrist and hamstring injuries that caused him to miss time. Eldridge is a big power bat with a low floor in 2026 because of his inexperience and high whiff rate. Long-term, though, he's a nice power bat to keep stashed in dynasty/keeper leagues who could get extended run in the Show this year if he stays healthy.

Bryce Eldridge to Begin Season at Triple-A?

San Francisco Giants first base prospect Bryce Eldridge has been in camp hoping to be a part of the team's Opening Day roster, but the Giants' top-ranked prospect could very well end up starting the year at Triple-A Sacramento. Giants manager Tony Vitello stated Monday that development is the most important thing for the 6-foot-7 slugger, and when asked if Eldridge would develop in San Francisco or Sacramento, the Giants' skipper said, "maybe see where it goes the last couple weeks of spring training." The former first-round draft pick made his big league debut in 2025, and while there is big-time power in his bat, there is a lot of swing-and-miss as well, registering a 30.8 percent K% in 66 games at Triple-A last year. So far this spring, the left-handed hitter has a 32.3 percent K% in 31 plate appearances, so perhaps the Giants want to see some improvement there before making him their designated hitter for the 2026 season. The 21-year-old is going undrafted in most fantasy leagues, but for power-needy managers, Eldridge is worth keeping an eye on as he could provide some pop despite the contact issues.

Bryce Eldridge Performing Well in Cactus League

San Francisco Giants first base prospect Bryce Eldridge has looked quite strong during his first taste of spring training and is carrying some solid momentum into his first full MLB season. Through nine games in camp, the team's top hitting prospect has posted a .263/.391/.579 slash line with three doubles, a home run, and a 7:3 K:BB. Last summer, the Giants provided the slugging first baseman with a short 10-game stint in San Francisco, and he struggled, posting a low .107 AVG with a .476 OPS. However, during this small taste, Eldridge generated a new. 362 xwOBA, suggesting his results should have been far more impressive. Through 66 games at Triple-A, Eldridge held a .249/.322/.514 line with 18 lone balls. The former 16th overall pick is a strong selection in the final rounds as a deep-league corner infielder, as he should see nearly every day at-bats sharing first base and the DH spot with Rafael Devers.

Bryce Eldridge Getting Work in Left Field

San Francisco Giants first baseman Bryce Eldridge took fly balls in left field at spring training on Wednesday, according to Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports. Manager Tony Vitello wants to get Eldridge work in the outfield just in case. The 21-year-old played some outfield in the minors after getting drafted, so it's not completely foreign to him. However, he only played 26 games in right field back in 2023 in the Arizona Complex League and at Single-A San Jose. Adding some positional versatility for Eldridge makes sense, considering he'll mostly be rotating between first base and designated hitter in 2026 with Rafael Devers. The 6-foot-7 left-handed slugger has recovered from left-wrist surgery to remove bone spurs at the end of last year, and he'll provide immense power in the Bay Area. Eldridge didn't hit a homer in 10 games in his MLB debut last September, but he displayed his power stroke with an .843 OPS and 25 homers in 102 minor-league games before that. Strikeouts are a part of his profile, but the power is real, and he should add first base eligibility in 2026.
