The 30-year-old's injury won't affect many fantasy formats, as he had pitched to a 4.67 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 24.3% strikeout rate across 17.1 innings with no saves or holds.

The former Los Angeles Dodger prospect is trying to win the fifth spot in the starting rotation this spring and has presented a good case. The former top prospect for the Los Angeles Dodgers impressively forced seven swinging strikes in the second inning of the outing alone. De Leon is fighting for the fifth spot in the Cincinnati pitching rotation and saw one of his main competitors, Michael Lorenzen, allow three runs in 1 2/3 innings in the same game. The Cincinnati coaching staff is reportedly high on De Leon's potential but he will need to continue to produce to nail down a spot in the rotation.
