Ryan LaMarre Collects First Homer, Stolen Base Of Season

New York Yankees outfielder Ryan LaMarre went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer, a walk, and a stolen base in Sunday's 9-1 blowout win over the Boston Red Sox. LaMarre's homer traveled 350 feet at 99.4 MPH. He reached base safely three times in the contest, scoring a pair of runs to boot. The 32-year-old was a solid contributor at the Triple-A level, batting .308 with 15 runs scored and eight stolen bases in 32 games played. With the recently acquired Tim Locastro (knee) done for the year and Clint Frazier sidelined, LaMarre should see his fair share of playing time in the Yankee outfield, making him one to watch for fantasy purposes.

Ryan LaMarre Heading To The Majors

New York Yankees outfielder Ryan LaMarre is projected to start on Sunday during the series finale against the Boston Red Sox. The veteran had his contract selected from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, and he adds depth to a club with some holes in the outfield. The 32-year-old hasn't done anything noteworthy during his brief stint with the big club this season, although his Triple-A numbers are encouraging, currently batting .310 through 116 at-bats. Fantasy managers don't need to rush to add him to the roster. However, he is someone to keep an eye on, primarily if he can come close to his minor league numbers.

Ryan LaMarre Placed On 10-Day Injured List

The New York Yankees have placed outfielder Ryan LaMarre (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list due to a right hamstring strain. LaMarre suffered the injury in the third inning of Wednesday's game against the Texas Rangers. He aggravated his hamstring as he ran to first on a groundout. He was replaced in the game by Tyler Wade. LaMarre was seeing a decent amount of playing time this past week thanks to the injury to Aaron Hicks (wrist). However, over his three starts, he had failed to record a hit, going 0-for-7 with a walk.

Ryan LaMarre Exits Game With Apparent Hamstring Injury

New York Yankees outfielder Ryan LaMarre (leg) was forced to leave Wednesday's game early with an apparent right hamstring injury. LaMarre grounded out to the shortstop in the top of the third inning and abruptly pulled up, appearing to grab his right hamstring. The veteran outfielder exited the game and was replaced in right field by Tyler Wade. There should be an official word from the Yankees on exactly what the injury is shortly. It's a potentially unfortunate one for New York, as they're already short on outfielders.

Ryan LaMarre Starting In Center Field

New York Yankees outfielder Ryan LaMarre is making his first start of the season in center field for Sunday's series finale against Baltimore. LaMarre was called up in a corresponding move with Aaron Hicks' placement on the injured list and will bat eighth against Orioles' left-hander John Means. LaMarre has appeared in 119 career games with a .236/.286/.338 slash line.

Ryan LaMarre Picks Up Three Hits

Chicago White Sox outfielder Ryan LaMarre went 3-for-3 with three RBI on Friday versus the Chicago Cubs. Despite the strong effort from LaMarre, he doesnt get enough playing time to be worthy of a pickup in any format. LaMarre is now hitting .286 with two home runs, 18 RBI and two stolen bases over 161 at-bats.

Ryan LaMarre Injured Sunday

Chicago White Sox outfielder Ryan LaMarre (hip) left the game early on Sunday with right hip soreness after six innings. He is listed as day-to-day. LaMarre had a single, run scored and strikeout in four plate appearances before departing. He's batting .281 with just two home runs and 15 RBI in 61 games this year. LaMarre is strictly an AL-only option.

White Sox Claim Ryan LaMarre Off Waivers

The Chicago White Sox have claimed outfielder Ryan LaMarre off waivers. He had been designated for assignment by the Twins. LaMarre is hitting .263 with eight RBI on the season. While he's not a recommended pickup at the moment, the White Sox are in the middle of a rebuild and might want to see what LaMarre brings to the table. If Chicago gives him regular playing time he could be a player to watch.

Jake Cave Recalled, Ryan LaMarre Optioned

Minnesota Twins outfielder Jake Cave was recalled from Triple-A Rochester on Tuesday. The move comes in response to the team optioning outfielder Ryan LaMarre to Triple-A on June 24. LaMarre hasn't been terrible this season, hitting to the tune of a .263 average and a .634 OPS. That said, LaMarre has struggled against right-handed pitching this season (.242) as opposed to left-handed pitching (.303). The Twins won't see a left-hander until June 30. Cave hasn't done much offensively this season either, and will probably provide depth until Byron Buxton finally makes his return to the team. Both LaMarre and Cave can be left on the waiver wire in most leagues.

Eddie Rosario Scratched From Lineup, Ryan LaMarre In

Updating a previous report, the Minnesota Twins will now be sitting outfielder Eddie Rosario(shoulder) against the Boston Red Sox on Thursday. His day off is being attributed to soreness in his shoulder. In Rosario's place, Ryan LaMarre has been inserted into the lineup and will start in center field. Rosario's injury is considered minor, so while fantasy owners will miss him and his consistent bat on Thursday, he could be back in the lineup on Friday when the Twins start their series with the Texas Rangers.
