It's been a rough ride for James in the Summer League, but Wednesday's performance should give him a confidence boost ahead of the final stretch of Summer League action. He's averaged 5.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 steals in 25.2 minutes.

The 19-year-old, drafted No. 55 overall in the 2024 NBA Draft, made his unofficial NBA debut on Saturday versus Sacramento. However, he struggled, scoring just four points while shooting 2-for-9 from the field. Fortunately, James is only dealing with "trace swelling" in his left knee, so he was held out for precautionary reasons. He's expected to return to the lineup for the Lakers California Classic finale against the Miami Heat.

However, he didn't gain much experience at the collegiate level. In addition, the 2024 No. 55 overall pick suffered a cardiac arrest nearly a year ago, which delayed his development. With that in mind, James is worth stashing in dynasty formats, even though he may be at least a few years away from doing anything meaningful for fantasy managers.
