Brook Lopez Resting On Sunday

Milwaukee Bucks center Brook Lopez (rest) won't play on Sunday against Detroit. These clubs met on Friday night, with Lopez finishing with 15 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks. However, Milwaukee is heading into the playoffs having already secured the No. 5 seed, so most of the team's core performers, including Giannis Antetokounmpo (shoulder), also aren't anticipated to suit up. But as far as the middle is concerned, Kyle Kuzma (ankle), who is probable, might spend the bulk of his time at the five. Pete Nance, Chris Livingston, and Tyler Smith are also in line to see plenty of work.

Brook Lopez Cleared To Face The Warriors

Milwaukee Bucks center Brook Lopez (shoulder) will play on Monday versus the Warriors. The veteran didn't suit up for the February 3 loss to OKC, his first absence of the 2024-25 campaign. But despite appearing on the injury report ahead of Milwaukee's previous three games, Lopez has been out there. That trend will continue on Monday against Golden State. With Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) out of commission for a few weeks, Lopez might see a bump in production, which could last until The Greek Freak is back on the floor.

Brook Lopez Cleared For Action

Milwaukee Bucks center Brook Lopez (knee) will play on Friday against the Atlanta Hawks. Lopez recently missed one game due to a back issue and is currently nursing a knee contusion. However, the ailment will not keep him off the court Friday night, as the team has upgraded his status from probable to available. Lopez has averaged 10.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks across two prior matchups against the Hawks this campaign.

Brook Lopez Available On Wednesday Night

Milwaukee Bucks center Brook Lopez (back) will play against the Hornets. The veteran missed his first game of the 2024-25 campaign on Monday versus OKC due to back soreness. But the Bucks also didn't have Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee), Bobby Portis (personal), and Damian Lillard (groin). However, with Lopez, Antetokounmpo, Portis, and Lillard all available, guys like Chris Livingston, Ryan Rollins, AJ Johnson, and Tyler Smith can be removed from fantasy lineups.

Brook Lopez Ruled Out Monday

Milwaukee Bucks center Brook Lopez (back) will sit out the second leg of a back-to-back against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday. Despite dealing with a back issue, Lopez put in a 32-minute shift against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday. However, he will join Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee), Damian Lillard (groin), Khris Middleton (ankle), and Bobby Portis (personal) on the sidelines against the Thunder. With so many regulars out of the lineup, the rest of the team will have a massive role to play in Monday's contest.

Brook Lopez Questionable Against Thunder On Monday

Milwaukee Bucks center Brook Lopez (back) is considered questionable on Monday against the Oklahoma City Thunder while he's suffering from back soreness. The veteran big man would be in line for a lot of minutes if he does play because Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) has been ruled out while Bobby Portis (personal) is tagged as doubtful. If Lopez doesn't suit up, however, Taurean Prince should see a lot of opportunities on the boards while MarJon Beauchamp could see some minutes. Prince would be the better streaming option regardless of league format as he averages 7.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game.

Brook Lopez Ready To Face Grizzlies

Milwaukee Bucks center Brook Lopez (back) will play against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday. The veteran big man is dealing with back soreness. However, Milwaukee has upgraded Lopez from probable to available, keeping his ironman streak alive. It's been close to 12 months since the last time Lopez wasn't in the Bucks lineup. The 36-year-old will aim to produce a bounce-back performance on Sunday. He missed all three attempts from deep and settled for only six points in Friday's 144-118 loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

Brook Lopez Expected To Play Against Bulls

Milwaukee Bucks center Brook Lopez (quad) is dealing with a quad contusion but it doesn't seem to be severe enough to cause him to miss some time. Lopez is listed as probable for the Friday night matchup with the Chicago Bulls on the official injury report. The big man delivered a quality all-around game outside of low efficiency on Wednesday when he registered 10 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and four blocks. He shoots almost 50% from the floor throughout his career so he should return to that norm against the Bulls.

Bucks Don't Plan On Trading Brook Lopez

According to Milwaukee Bucks general manager Jon Horst, the team doesn't plan on trading center Brook Lopez. "Brook is so core to who we are," said Horst during an interview. "Of course, he has value around the league. That's a credit to him. But we've not engaged in any real conversations about trading Brook. I hope Brook retires as a Milwaukee Buck." The 36-year-old has been with the Bucks since the 2018-19 campaign. Since then, he's appeared in at least 68 games in all but one season. While Lopez's production has decreased over the years, he remains a double-double threat and one of the most durable big men in the National Basketball Association, giving him value for fantasy managers heading into the 2024-25 season. His abilities from deep and as a shot-blocker also give him a higher ceiling for category participants.

Bucks Still Looking To Move Brook Lopez

According to NBA reporter Gery Woelfel, the Milwaukee Bucks are "still very receptive to trading" center Brook Lopez. Milwaukee hopes to receive a first-round draft pick in exchange for the veteran. However, most teams aren't looking to make a deal, considering his age and contract. Lopez is still a reliable big man. He's appeared in 68 games in five of his six seasons in Milwaukee, and he most recently finished the 2023-24 campaign by averaging 12.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks while shooting 36.6% from behind the arc. There's a good chance Lopez will stay with the Bucks. But no matter where he ends up, he still has plenty to offer fantasy managers.
