Keaton Wagler Fantasy Stats

Los Angeles Clippers guard Keaton Wagler recorded 12 points, five rebounds, and four assists in his first preseason start Wednesday, helping Los Angeles beat the Denver Nuggets 122-110. Starting alongside Darius Garland while Kris Dunn rested, the 19-year-old shot 4-for-9 from the field and 3-for-7 from three without committing a turnover in 28 minutes. Wagler struggled with his shot in the preseason, finishing at 30.3 percent from the field and 25.0 percent from three. Still, with Brandon Ingram (Achilles) and Bradley Beal (knee) sidelined to start the season, the rookie should have a chance to earn a regular spot in the rotation.

Los Angeles Clippers guard Keaton Wagler put up 26 points on 9-for-19 shooting in Friday's 128-120 overtime win over the Timberwolves, adding four rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block over 28 minutes. The No. 5 pick ended his Vegas run on a high after a rocky debut of seven points on 1-for-7 shooting against Sacramento. The Illinois product bounced back with 23 points against Utah, and this game showed the on-ball creator the Clippers envisioned. His shooting stayed streaky, going 2-for-7 from deep here, but Wagler has a clearer path to early minutes than most rookies, with a chance to play alongside Darius Garland.

Los Angeles Clippers guard Keaton Wagler (rest) won't suit up for Wednesday's Summer League contest against the Washington Wizards. The Clippers will give the rookie guard a break after he started in each of the first three games of the Summer League. He finished with 16 points, six rebounds, and four assists during Tuesday's loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. He has been producing early on, as the Clippers are hopeful he can start alongside Darius Garland this season. His next chance to play will come on Friday versus the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Los Angeles Clippers guard Keaton Wagler contributed 23 points, four assists, one rebound, and one steal across 28 minutes in Sunday's 104-82 Las Vegas Summer League win over the Utah Jazz. The No. 5 overall pick bounced back from a quiet debut, shooting 6-for-16 from the field, 4-for-7 from three-point range, and 3-for-4 at the line. Los Angeles took control by outscoring Utah 42-18 in the third quarter, giving Wagler a much cleaner second-half runway. The shooting response was encouraging, but he still needs more efficient shot creation to strengthen his early fantasy case.

Los Angeles Clippers guard Keaton Wagler finished with seven points, two rebounds, one assist, and one three-pointer in Thursday's 91-85 Summer League loss to the Sacramento Kings. The No. 5 overall pick had a rough first outing, shooting just 1-for-7 from the field while Sacramento's pressure kept him from finding much rhythm. Wagler's fantasy appeal is still tied to his shooting and playmaking after a strong freshman season at Illinois, but this was a reminder that efficiency and physicality could be early hurdles. He will look to respond Sunday against Utah.
