Gabe Vincent Won't Play On Tuesday

Los Angeles Lakers guard Gabe Vincent (knee) will sit out Tuesday's action against the Raptors. He's only just returned from a long injury layoff, and the Lakers start a back-to-back on Tuesday, so it makes sense that Vincent's load will be managed. The 27-year-old logged 14 minutes in his comeback game against Brooklyn on Sunday, scoring two points and recording one assist with one steal. Spencer Dinwiddie should see more minutes without Vincent on Tuesday. This is a good fantasy matchup for the Lakers against a team that is ranked 25th in the league with a 117.9 defensive rating.

Gabe Vincent Expected To Return To Action On Sunday

According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, Los Angeles Lakers guard Gabe Vincent (knee) is expected to rejoin the lineup on Sunday versus Brooklyn. Vincent has been unavailable since Dec. 20 due to knee surgery. The former Heat player has been limited to only five games in his first year in L.A. He's posted 5.4 points, 3.0 assists, and 1.2 steals across 25.4 minutes. Vincent's return gives the Lakers an additional backcourt piece, but he likely won't be making a big impact in fantasy hoops, as there's a lot of competition for playing time.

Gabe Vincent Could Return By Early April

Los Angeles Lakers guard Gabe Vincent (knee) is not currently traveling with the team ahead of Tuesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. If Vincent continues to progress in his rehab following left knee surgery, however, he could join LA at some point during their six-game road trip that runs through April 3, which is about midway through the fantasy finals. While the 27-year-old volume scorer could be an option for the 39-32 Lakers during the postseason, he'll still most likely be a non-factor for the fantasy playoffs outside of the deepest of leagues with such little time remaining to overcome likely minutes restrictions. Vincent hasn't suited up since December and is producing a mere 5.4 points on 37.5% shooting from the floor, 3.0 assists, and 1.2 steals in 25.4 minutes per game over five appearances this year. Continue ignoring him for fantasy purposes.

Gabe Vincent Seen At Practice On Friday

Los Angeles Lakers guard Gabe Vincent (knee) hasn't played since December 20 and has only appeared in five games this season. He returned briefly but had some issues with his knee again so the Lakers have been taking every precaution to make sure he can return healthy. On Friday afternoon, Vincent was seen in a practice uniform at the end of practice. He wasn't going full speed and seemed to only do some light work so it's unclear how soon he can return. The promising part is that he's dressing for practice now and it seems like a return to practice should be on the horizon.

Gabe Vincent Eyeing Return In Mid-To-Late March

The Athletic's Shams Charania reported on Tuesday that Los Angeles Lakers guard Gabe Vincent (knee) "is doing more and more on the court. Barring any setbacks, his hope is still mid-to-late March to get back in the lineup for the Lakers." After undergoing knee surgery in late December, Vincent is finally closing in on a return to the floor. The 27-year-old volume scorer has appeared in only five games this season, contributing 5.4 points on 37.5% shooting from the field, 3.0 assists, and 1.2 steals in 25.4 minutes per contest. Upon Vincent's return, he is expected to share reserve minutes with Spencer Dinwiddie from L.A.'s second unit and doesn't need to be rostered in fantasy leagues at this stage.

Gabe Vincent Could Undergo Surgery

Los Angeles Lakers guard Gabe Vincent (knee) continues to be hindered by injuries as he has been sidelined for most of the season. Vincent could be looking at missing more time as the guard is strongly considering undergoing knee surgery. If he does, Vincent is expected to miss 6-8 weeks of action, which means we likely wouldn't see him again until some point in February. It's uncertain if Vincent is going to contribute to this roster at all this season. Fantasy managers should probably move on and find someone who can help now.

Gabe Vincent Remains Out On Tuesday

Los Angeles Lakers guard Gabe Vincent (knee) has been ruled out for another game ahead of Tuesday's contest against Dallas. He hasn't played since Oct. 30 due to a left knee issue, and there haven't been any updates on him for weeks. Vincent averaged over 28 minutes of action at the start of the season and should have a major role to play in the rotation once he's healthy again, although the Lakers are playing well right now, and it might not be easy for Vincent to regain his position.

Gabe Vincent To Be Re-Evaluated In Two Weeks

Los Angeles Lakers guard Gabe Vincent (knee) hasn't appeared in a game since the end of October. However, Vincent is progressing well in his recovery from a left knee effusion. Fantasy managers shouldn't get too excited as Vincent is expected to miss at least two more weeks of action. The team plans to re-evaluate Vincent in two weeks, so fantasy managers will have to wait a little longer. In theory, Austin Reaves would likely gain value while Vincent is out, but he hasn't been playing great lately. There isn't a must-have pickup right now with Vincent on the sideline.

Gabe Vincent Expected To Miss At Least Two Weeks

Los Angeles Lakers guard Gabe Vincent (knee) will be out for two weeks as he deals with a left knee effusion. The team is going to re-evaluate his status after two weeks and then his return to play options will be assessed. Vincent hasn't been as much of a fantasy contributor as he was with Miami, but his absence does leave a handful of minutes up for grabs. D'Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves will take on more of the playmaking duties as Cam Reddish and Christian Wood could see some more opportunities off of the bench. The latter two are more likely to be available on the waiver wire.

Rui Hachimura, Gabe Vincent Both Ruled Out

Los Angeles Lakers forward Rui Hachimura (concussion) and guard Gabe Vincent (knee) are not going to play on Wednesday versus the Los Angeles Clippers. Hachimura is being evaluated for a concussion after getting listed with a left eye contusion that forced him to sit out Monday's game versus the Orlando Magic, and Vincent's left knee soreness will render him out for the first time so far this year. Neither of which have brought much to the table in fantasy as role players, but their voids free up extra playing time for Christian Wood, who played a season-high 26 minutes in his last time out, and Cam Reddish (foot), who is good to go on Wednesday. Expect D'Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves to take on even more playmaking duties in this Hallway Series game.
