Jonathan Isaac News
Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac (knee) agreed to a four-year, $80 million extension with the organization. He was limited by injuries last season but still averaged 11.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.6 steals and 2.3 blocks through 34 games. Sadly, Isaac will not play this season due to a torn ACL. Nonetheless, the Magic decided to extend the young forward because he does have plenty of potential. Isaac should be hovering around in the middle rounds on draft boards next season.
Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac (knee) was seen walking around with a knee brace, but is off crutches. Isaac has reportedly been off crutches for several weeks, which is great news in his recovery process. He appears to be upbeat about it despite not being able to play at all next season. Isaac will sit out as he recovers from ACL surgery, but hopefully he'll be back and better than ever before for the 2021-2022 season.
Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac (knee) is expected to miss the entire 2020-2021 season, according to Magic President Jeff Weltman. In early August, Isaac underwent surgery on his left knee to repair a torn ACL and a meniscus tear. The team has not revealed an official timetable, but it doesn't sound like Isaac will take the court next season. It's tough to know how this impacts their team until after the draft and free agency. However, losing a young stud like Isaac is going to hurt regardless of the moves they make.
Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac (knee) reportedly suffered a season-ending injury during Sunday's game against the Sacramento Kings. His knee gave out on a non-contact play and he tore his ACL. He'll likely need surgery which means he won't play until possibly some point next season. This is a big blow to the Magic who just got Isaac back from injury. It's going to be tough to replace his production on the court. Aaron Gordon, Terrence Ross, and Wesley Iwundu will likely be asked to step up in his place.
