Orlando Magic forward Tristan da Silva will start in Friday's meeting with Minnesota. Jalen Suggs (knee) has been on the shelf for a while. But with Cole Anthony (toe) and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (rest) unavailable, da Silva will handle things at the shooting guard spot, with Cory Joseph taking over again at the one. The 23-year-old hasn't been a consistent fantasy producer this season. However, da Silva has averaged 8.9 points, 4.3 boards, and 1.8 assists in 35 starts this season, giving him added value for DFS managers.
Orlando Magic small forward Tristan Da Silva (illness) will suit up for Wednesday's contest against Milwaukee. He logged only 1:01 of action as a starter on Sunday due to an illness, but the team didn't list him on the injury report for Wednesday. Da Silva has been an inconsistent performer during his rookie campaign, but the Magic must be happy with what they have gotten with their 18th pick in last year's draft. The Germany-born forward has averaged 8.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 25.6 minutes.
Tristan Da Silva Stays Hot From Deep Versus Grizzlies
Orlando Magic forward Tristan Da Silva notched 17 points with 4-for-6 three-point shooting in Wednesday's 104-98 loss against Memphis in the Las Vegas Summer League. He finished 6-for-9 overall from the field, adding six rebounds, three assists, and one steal during a good all-around performance. The former Colorado Buffalo has been on fire from deep throughout the Summer League, hitting with a 58.8 percent clip on nearly six attempts per game. The Magic badly lacked outside shooting last season, so seeing da Silva's efforts must be encouraging for the team. The 18th pick of this year's draft has averaged 17.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.3 steals in 26.8 minutes during Summer League action.
