Tristan da Silva Returns To Action On Friday Night Against Hornets

Orlando Magic forward Tristan da Silva (shoulder) will return to the lineup on Friday night and is officially active against the Charlotte Hornets. da Silva has missed the last four games dealing with a right shoulder contusion. The 26-year-old was recently moved to the bench with Paolo Banchero's return and his production was spotty in those games (3.5 PPG and 4.5 RPG). With a return from injury he will be a risky play for both fantasy managers and DFS players alike.

Tristan da Silva Remains Sidelined Against Portland

Orlando Magic forward Tristan da Silva (shoulder) won't play on Tuesday versus Portland, marking his fourth-straight absence. He was getting consistent work before injuring his shoulder in the loss to the New York Knicks on December 13. However, now that da Silva will miss another contest, Jett Howard and Noah Penda should remain more involved, even if Jonathan Isaac (hip) sheds his questionable designation and suits up. With that said, Howard and Penda aren't reliable contributors, so fantasy managers shouldn't consider either player for streaming purposes.

Tristan da Silva Could Return Tuesday

Orlando Magic forward Tristan da Silva (shoulder) has missed the last three games with a shoulder contusion, but he was listed as questionable for Tuesday night's game against the Trail Blazers. He is averaging 9.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 23 minutes per game in his 26 games this season, and he stepped into a larger role while Paolo Banchero was out. With Banchero back, his playing time has been a little erratic, but he still offers upside. The second-year forward could step into a larger role if he's ready to return to action, depending on the status of Goga Bitadze (knee) and Jonathan Isaac (hip), who are also listed as questionable.

Tristan da Silva Ruled Out for Monday

Orlando Magic small forward Tristan da Silva (shoulder) has been ruled out for Monday's contest against the Golden State Warriors. da Silva was listed as questionable heading into Monday night, but with the Magic on the first night of a back-to-back, they are resting him for Tuesday night. The 24-year-old forward has averaged 9.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in over 23 minutes per game. With da Silva inactive and starter Franz Wagner (knee/ankle) already out, look for Jett Howard and Noah Penda to see more minutes against the Warriors. da Silva will miss his third straight game, but look for him to return Tuesday night against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Tristan da Silva Out, Jonathan Isaac Returns for Magic Saturday

Orlando Magic forward Tristan da Silva (shoulder) has been ruled out for Saturday's clash against the Utah Jazz, while forward Jonathan Isaac (hip) is returning to the lineup. Both players were originally listed as questionable on the injury report. Da Silva will be absent for a second consecutive game and Isaac will help fill some of his minutes. Meanwhile, Jett Howard, who logged 29 minutes on Thursday night against Denver and had 12 points with six rebounds, will probably lose playing time to Isaac. Orlando has utilized Isaac for only 10.6 minutes per game this season, so he generally doesn't make much of a difference in fantasy basketball.

Tristan da Silva Uncertain for Saturday Against Jazz

Orlando Magic forward Tristan da Silva (shoulder) is questionable Saturday against Utah due to a right shoulder contusion and risks missing a second straight game. The second-year forward has averaged 5.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 0.6 assists in 21.6 minutes over his last five, limiting his appeal to deeper formats when active. His potential absence carries more streaming value elsewhere. If da Silva and Jonathan Isaac (hip) sit, Jett Howard becomes a viable short-term add after posting 12 points and six rebounds in 29 minutes, while Anthony Black's role remains secure.

Tristan da Silva Questionable for Thursday

Orlando Magic small forward Tristan da Silva (shoulder) is questionable to play on Thursday when the Magic travel to take on the Denver Nuggets. da Silva suffered a right shoulder contusion in the NBA Cup Semi-Finals loss to the New York Knicks, and his status is in doubt for Thursday. The Magic have been decimated by injuries as of late, losing Franz Wagner (ankle), Moritz Wagner (knee), and point guard Jalen Suggs (hip) for the foreseeable future. The second-year forward from Germany has started in 10 games this season, averaging 9.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game this season. Fantasy managers should stay in tune with the news surrounding the Magic and da Silva. If he's inactive, Jett Howard and Jonathan Isaac should see more minutes.

Tristan da Silva Starting Versus Minnesota

Orlando Magic forward Tristan da Silva will start in Friday's meeting with Minnesota. Jalen Suggs (knee) has been on the shelf for a while. But with Cole Anthony (toe) and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (rest) unavailable, da Silva will handle things at the shooting guard spot, with Cory Joseph taking over again at the one. The 23-year-old hasn't been a consistent fantasy producer this season. However, da Silva has averaged 8.9 points, 4.3 boards, and 1.8 assists in 35 starts this season, giving him added value for DFS managers.

Tristan Da Silva Active On Wednesday

Orlando Magic small forward Tristan Da Silva (illness) will suit up for Wednesday's contest against Milwaukee. He logged only 1:01 of action as a starter on Sunday due to an illness, but the team didn't list him on the injury report for Wednesday. Da Silva has been an inconsistent performer during his rookie campaign, but the Magic must be happy with what they have gotten with their 18th pick in last year's draft. The Germany-born forward has averaged 8.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 25.6 minutes.

Tristan Da Silva Stays Hot From Deep Versus Grizzlies

Orlando Magic forward Tristan Da Silva notched 17 points with 4-for-6 three-point shooting in Wednesday's 104-98 loss against Memphis in the Las Vegas Summer League. He finished 6-for-9 overall from the field, adding six rebounds, three assists, and one steal during a good all-around performance. The former Colorado Buffalo has been on fire from deep throughout the Summer League, hitting with a 58.8 percent clip on nearly six attempts per game. The Magic badly lacked outside shooting last season, so seeing da Silva's efforts must be encouraging for the team. The 18th pick of this year's draft has averaged 17.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.3 steals in 26.8 minutes during Summer League action.
