Robin Lopez Not Ruling Out Playing In Europe

Free agent center Robin Lopez has not ruled out a move to Europe to extend his playing career. "I'd absolutely consider it; I know how passionate the fans are and how high the level of basketball is," Lopez told Eurohoops. The 16-year NBA veteran is without a contract for next season after spending the 2023-24 campaign in Milwaukee with his twin brother Brook. Lopez played a very limited role with the Bucks, averaging 4.0 minutes across 16 games. He will likely be at the end of the bench again if he lands on a new team for the upcoming NBA campaign, leaving him without any fantasy appeal.

Robin Lopez Unavailable On Monday

Cleveland Cavaliers center Robin Lopez (illness) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. It's the second game of a back-to-back set, so the Cavs will rest their veteran big man here. His absence won't have a huge impact on the rotation. The expectation is that Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley will have a few more minutes on Monday. Lopez should be back in the rotation for their next contest.

Robin Lopez Enters COVID-19 Protocols

Orlando Magic center Robin Lopez has entered COVID-19 health and safety protocols and won't suit up against the Bucks. Orlando is short-handed as it is, so losing another body certainly isn't ideal. Nonetheless, Wendell Carter Jr. should handle most of the minutes in the middle on Thursday night, with Moritz Wagner potentially in line to get more work.

Robin Lopez To Start On Tuesday

Orlando Magic center Robin Lopez will move into the starting five for Tuesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. He has played 16 minutes over the last two games. Although, Lopez is averaging 15.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.3 blocks in four starts this season. That being said, Lopez sounds like he'll be a solid low cost DFS option for Tuesday's slate. The fact he's starting alongside Wendell Carter Jr. could potentially hurt his value. Despite that, Lopez should be rostered in the short term while the Magic are banged up.

Robin Lopez Records A Double-Double With Assists

Orlando Magic center Robin Lopez produced another strong effort on Wednesday, compiling a double-double with 10 points and a career-high 11 assists in a 104-98 win over Atlanta. He added five rebounds, one steal and one block to his tally with one turnover, shooting 5-for-10 from the field. Lopez is filling in for Wendell Carter Jr. (leg) and has averaged 12 points, 7.3 rebounds, six assists and one block across the last three games. Carter Jr. was listed questionable for Wednesday and he'll hope to return again on Thursday against New Orleans, but if he doesn't, then Lopez will remain a good fantasy option.

Robin Lopez Puts Up A Nice Double-Double Against Brooklyn

Orlando Magic center Robin Lopez couldn't handle the ball well and posted five turnovers in Saturday's win over Brooklyn, but he had a very good outing with 20 points and 10 rebounds. The big guy also recorded four assists and one block in 38 minutes as a starter, shooting 10-for-22 from the field. The Magic frontcourt has lost Wendell Carter Jr. (leg) and Mo Bamba (health and safety protocols), and it's given Lopez an opportunity to impress. Chuma Okeke, who notched 15 points and six rebounds on Saturday, is also carrying a heavier load.

Bradley Beal And Robin Lopez Good To Go Wednesday

Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal (hip) and center Robin Lopez (quad) will play Wednesday against the Orlando Magic. Beal will make his return after a five-game absence due to a hip injury. Beal's return should push Raul Neto back to the bench and take some usage away from Russell Westbrook. Lopez left Monday's game with a quad injury, but will slate back into his reserve center role on Wednesday and is a viable streamer with Daniel Gafford (ankle) still on the mend.

Robin Lopez Agrees To Deal With Wizards

Free agent center Robin Lopez has agreed to terms on a deal with the Washington Wizards. Lopez played 66 games for the Milwaukee Bucks last year, where he mostly backed up brother Brook Lopez. RoLo posted numbers that were a sharp decrease from his recent seasons, including averaging 5.4 points and 2.4 rebounds per contest. A repeat of that production would keep him off fantasy radars, but if we assume Lopez made this move as a way of getting back into a starting lineup, we should see improvement across the board in his numbers, giving him late-round value.

Robin Lopez Heads To Free Agency

Milwaukee Bucks center Robin Lopez has declined his $5 million player option and will head to free agency. He'll be an unrestricted free agent and feels he'll have a strong market. The veteran center doesn't have the same type of fantasy value as he did years ago. He could hold some deep league value, assuming he lands on a team with a significant role.

Brook Lopez, Robin Lopez Combine For 27 Points In Win

The Milwaukee Bucks brotherly center duo combined for 27 points during Thursdays victory over the Detroit Pistons, with both Brook Lopez and Robin Lopez shooting 4-for-9 overall from the field. The major difference in their stat line was the 9-for-10 performance that Brook put together at the free-throw line, although Robin knocking down just his fifth triple of the new year was also notable. While Brook has emerged as a shot-blocking stalwart (second in the league at 2.6 per game), both he and his brother were unable to turn a shot away across their 39 combined minutes. The duo will have its hands full with 76ers center Joel Embiid on Saturday, although ample rebounding opportunities should exist through Philadelphias reliance to play through its star.
