Boston Celtics guard/forward Ron Harper Jr. (ankle) is on the injury report ahead of Tuesday's Game 2 against the Philadelphia 76ers, carrying a probable designation. The 26-year-old has injured his right ankle, but he is expected to be in the lineup on Tuesday night. That said, Harper Jr. saw only four minutes of garbage time in Boston's dominant 123-91 Game 1 victory, and it wouldn't be surprising if he didn't hit the court on Tuesday night, even if he's active. Payton Pritchard, Nikola Vucevic, and Baylor Scheierman will remain the primary contributors off the bench.

The 25-year-old's next opportunity to suit up is against Miami on Wednesday. Harper out of action won't make much of an impact fantasy-wise as he's averaging just 3.6 points in 10.5 minutes per contest across 25 outings this campaign.

He was in camp on a tryout deal, and played 32 minutes in three preseason games, including stretches with Boston's regular starters. Harper is a versatile forward who could play his way into meaningful minutes in Boston, especially with Jayson Tatum (Achilles) out for at least the majority of the upcoming season.

The Toronto Raptors have signed forward Ron Harper Jr. to a two-way contract. Harper spent last season with the Raptors on a two-way deal. He only appeared in nine games for Toronto as he spent most of his time in the G-League. Harper averaged 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.1 steals, 1.2 blocks in 32.7 minutes per game in the G-League. He'll probably spend most of his time in the G-League, but regardless Harper is unlikely to have fantasy value next season.

Despite going 1-for-4 from deep, the former Rutgers star looked good, adding seven boards, one steal, and one block to supplement his scoring output. He signed a two-way contract and will suit up for Toronto's G-League affiliate this season. However, Harper could see some minutes at the professional level, and while he likely won't have any value in redraft formats, he should draw dynasty consideration heading into the 2022-23 campaign.
