NFL Fantasy Recap Week 12

NFL Fantasy Recap

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I know I did! That was mainly due to watching my Dolphins win on the first-ever Black Friday game! Oh, and the family time and delicious food. How could I forget?

Some pretty wild scores this week across the board! Josh Allen finished as the QB1 with 39 points. Following him were Jalen Hurts, Dak Prescott, C.J. Stroud, and Jordan Love. say what?! Stroud and Love in the top 5? Love that! You know what I don’t like? Tua finished near the bottom of the QBs in fantasy points. Thank goodness the Dolphins’ defense showed up!

A lot of red and black jerseys in the top RBs. Kryen Williams was RB1 with 39 points, followed by Christian McCaffrey, Bijan Robinson, Isiah Pacheco and, Josh Jacobs. Yes, you read that correctly, Bijan finished in the top 5! Thank you, Arthur! On the flip side, I don’t like seeing Gus Edwards, Joe Mixon, and Saquon Barkley finishing with sub-10-point weeks.

Week 12 was the lowest WR high scores I recall in a good while. Tyreek Hill finished as the WR1 overall with 25.4 points. That’s the lowest WR1 output this season. Just weird to think about. Rounding out the top 5 were Mike Evans, Rashee Rice, DeVonta Smith, and Nico Collins. Quite the unusual top 5, but I like it. Makes things interesting!

The TE landscape was different this week, as Pat Freiermuth finished as the TE1. He had 21 points this week! Following him was Tyler Higbee and his spike week. Haven’t heard much from him lately. Sam LaPorta, T.J. Hockenson, and Travis Kelce were the remaining top scorers. I would love to see Kittle back up in the top 5 again, please and thank you!!!

Lions vs Packers

In my life, there are two things guaranteed to occur on Thanksgiving. First, I’ll be eating a delicious plate full of the trademark Thanksgiving food. Second, the Lions will lose. I don’t make the rules. I’m sorry Lions fans. A solid game from Amon-Ra St. Brown though. St. Brown had 9 catches for 95 yards (18.5 pts). Goff really didn’t play that bad. He racked up 332 passing yards and 2 TDs. 18 points from a QB is nothing short of helpful in fantasy. LaPorta had a great day scoring 17.7 points. He had 5 catches for 47 yards and a TD. Even David Montgomery put together a solid week with 15 points. Kalif Raymond and Jahmyr Gibbs followed with 14.6 pts and 11.3 pts. Better fantasy day than a real day for the Lions.

The Packers came to spoil Thanksgiving in Detroit for thousands. Led by none other than Jordan Love and his 26.6 points! Love had 268 passing yards and 3 TDs. Love took every chance he could to capitalize on the Lion’s turnovers. Not far behind Love was Christian Watson who scored 20 points on Thanksgiving. Watson caught 5 passes for 94 yards and a TD. Huge day for his managers. The wait paid off! Jayden Reed had another solid week, scoring 15 points on 4 catches for 34 yards and a TD. If you didn’t see the pass to Reed, go check it out! A.J. Dillon took over the RB duties with Jones out, but he only got 11 points this week. Not horrible, but you’d expect more from the way this game panned out.

Commanders vs Cowboys

This one really got away from the Commanders. The final score was 45-10. Tough loss for a nationally televised game because this doesn’t define the Commanders. They’ve played some great games this season despite their record. Curtis Samuel led them in fantasy points this week with 19 points. He must’ve been inspired by the OSU/Michigan game being the same week. I dunno. Sam Howell had 300 passing yards but failed to throw a touchdown. He did have one rushing TD though. Which got him to 17 points. Jahan Dotson was the next-highest score with 10.2 pts. Not a great week for Commanders’ players. McLaurin only had 9 and Robinson only had 8.4 points. Better luck next week.

The Cowboys played much better across the board. Unusual for a Cowboys game on Thanksgiving, but here we are. Dak Prescott had yet another unreal week. 32.24 points puts him at QB3 for week 12. 331 passing yards and 4 TDs will do that! He has been playing out of his mind lately. Another guy knocking the dust off his boots is Tony Pollard. Two straight weeks of 18+ points with 22 this week. 79 rushing yards, 6 catches for 24 yards, and a rushing TD. Love to see him getting hot as fantasy playoffs near. CeeDee Lamb had another mid-teens scoring week with 17 in week 12. Lamb caught 4 passes for 53 yards and a TD. Not a bad week, but he has cooled off from his 30+ point weeks. Brandin Cooks caught 4 passes for 72 yards and a touchdown, giving him 17 points as well. Solid week for the Cowboys who move to 8-3 on the season.

Seahawks vs 49ers

Tough week for the Seahawks, that’s no secret. Especially, when you look at their fantasy production. The leading scorer? Zach Charbonnet with 9.8 points. 47 yards with 4 catches for 11 yards. Not great. Geno Smith finished with 180 passing yards and a pick. Giving him 7.3 points. Metcalf struggled in a big way, only reaching 6 points this week. Lockett and Smith-Njigba were locked down as well. It’s never good when 3 of your wide receivers combine for 18 points total. I was hoping we’d see the Seahawks turn it around after that Thanksgiving day performance, but they face the Cowboys this upcoming week and then a rematch with the 49ers the following week. Buckle up, Seahawks fans.

There’s really no way of putting this lightly, but the 49ers dominated the Seahawks in fantasy production. CMC scored almost double all of the Seahawks’ WRs…insane. CMC finished with 114 rushing yards, 2 TDs, and 5 catches for 25 yards. Good for 30.9 points and the RB2 overall in week 12. Because wide receivers were down across the board this week, Deebo Samuel finished with 22.4 points. He had another rushing touchdown on top of his 7 catches for 79 yards. Love to see him back at it! Brandon Aiyuk did OK this week. He reached 13 points. One of those “it’s not hurting you, but not giving you an edge” kind of weeks from Aiyuk. 2 catches for 50 yards and a TD for him. Purdy wound up with 10.46 points since McCaffrey was taking care of the offense. The weekly disappointment came form George Kittle and his 4.9 points. Hate to see it. Good win for the 49ers on national television!

Jets vs Dolphins

The first-ever Black Friday NFL game! I think this is such a great idea because think about how many Americans are sitting around at home the day after Thanksgiving. Nothing but eyes on this game! At least, that’s how it should have been but Miami blew the Jets out in MetLife. Garrett Wilson was the Jets’ high-scorer. Wilson had 17 points from 7 catches for 44 yards and a TD. Thank goodness he caught that touchdown, or it would have been a crappy week for him! BReece came in second, with 11.9 points. Tough day for him, only notching 2 rushing yards, but at least he caught 7 passes for 24 yards. Saved his week… Pretty bleak scores after that. Tim Boyle came out with 7.36 points. Yikes.

Miami players had much better weeks. Leading the way was none other than Tyreek Hill. He scored 25.4 points while his counterpart, Jaylen Waddle, scored 19.4 points. Both racked up over 100 receiving yards. Hill caught 9 passes and Waddle caught 8. Huge week for the duo! Raheem Mostert came to play as well. 94 rushing yards with 2 TDs on the ground! This gave him a huge 21.4 points in week 12 and a top-10 finish. He still leads the NFL in rushing TDs! That is about it for fantasy production as those three took care of the offense this week. But, can’t forget about Miami’s defense being the #1 scoring defense this week with 23 points. If you played Jeff Wilson in a pinch, then you lucked out with his 10 points. Not terrible. Tua had a bad week, only reaching 7.3 points. Tough one. Next week will be better!

Falcons vs Saints

Would I rather watch paint dry or a Saints/Falcons game? Obviously, I’ll take football, but the options are closer than I’d like them to be. Derek Carr needs to get his shit together. They should not lose to the Falcons. 300 passing yards and no touchdowns? What’re we doing Carr? If you’re a Chris Olave manager, you’re beyond grateful for an 18.4-point week with Olave leaving the game due to a concussion. Before exiting the game, Olave had 7 catches for 114 yards. Olave is usually a lock for 15 ish points. Alvin Kamara had a solid day as well, scoring 15.9 points on 69 rushing yards, 5 catches, and 50 receiving yards. No touchdown for Kamara this week. Maybe next week!

Atlanta ground out this win, and that sits them at the top of the NFC South. That makes me uncomfortable, I dunno about you. Merry-Go-Round QB rotation and under-utilizing players with crazy abilities get you in the playoffs apparently. Wild to think about. I will say, Bijan Robinson did have a solid day on Sunday. 27.3 points and an RB3 weekly finish. Love to see it. Maybe Arthur is beginning to utilize him more. 91 rushing yards, 3 catches, 32 receiving yards, and 2 total TDs is a huge day for Bijan. The ceiling we’ve all been waiting for! At least, since week 2 when he last scored 20+ points. Drake London was the other player to have solid fantasy production with 14.1 points. London caught 5 passes for 91 yards. No touchdown this week. The only other touchdown was scored by the defense on a 92-yard pick-6 by Jesse Bates.

Bengals vs Steelers

Boy oh boy…the Bengals are going to struggle without Joe Burrow it seems. I know that sounds obvious, but with the talent on offense, you’d think a serviceable backup could get them into scoring position, it does not seem like Jake Browning is the answer. 227 passing yards and a TD isn’t horrible, but it’s not great either. Ja’Marr led the Bengals in points, scoring 12.1 this week. 4 catches for 81 yards was what Browning could provide for Chase managers. At least he got to double digits. Rather bleak after those two as Mixon was held to 16 rushing yards (8 fantasy points). Good luck managing your Bengal’s fantasy players going forward…

Whatever the Steelers switched their offensive play-calling strategy to clearly caused Kenny Pickett to target the hell out of Pat Freiermuth (Muth). Muth had 9 receptions for 120 yards this week! The week after Canada gets canned. Love to see that. Hell, this was the first time in 58 games that the Steelers offense reached 400 total offensive yards. Times are changing! Muth led the way with 21 points this week. Najee followed him with 15.9 points this week. Najee had 99 rushing yards and a TD. I thought he reached 100 yards, but there must’ve been a stat correction after the game. Pickett threw for 278 yards but did not throw a TD. Maybe next week! At least, if he gets more effort out of Diontae Johnson. Who only had 4 catches for 50 yards, but he had a play where he gave MAYBE 3% effort and they lost a fumble that went right by him. Just search for him on X (formerly Twitter). You’ll see what I’m talking about. The Steelers continue to win despite little scoring! Love to see it.

Panthers vs Titans

Well, the Panthers are now without a head coach and leader for Bryce Young to develop beneath. Well done, David Tepper (Panthers owner). Good luck handling your dumpster fire. This week, Chuba Hubbard was a bright light in a dark place. Hubbard racked up 20.2 points on 45 rush yards, a TD, 5 catches, and 47 receiving yards. Not bad! Would love to see him thrive with Reich gone. I’m not blaming Reich for Hubbard’s lack of success. I think a new coach might utilize him better! We will see. Jonathan Mingo reached 10 points this week, which is tied for his season-high. Yikes. Rough scene in Carolina right now…wishing Bryce Young the best!

The Titans got a win! That’s about the nicest thing I can say about it because it was certainly due to Derrick Henry and his 20-point week. Henry had 76 rushing yards and 2 TDs this week. You love to see him in the weekly top 10. What you don’t love to see is the Titans’ skill players struggling to get any sort of fantasy production going. Chigoziem Okonkwo was the second-high score for the Titans with 8.5 points. Yes, I’m serious. He had 4 catches for 45 yards. DeAndre Hopkins was held to 3 catches for 49 yards this week. Not ideal. The Titans remain at the bottom of the AFC South, and the more they add wins, the worse their draft pick gets. And at this rate, they probably don’t want to be doing that, right? I dunno, food for thought.

Patriots vs Giants

The Patriots just might end up in a position to draft one of the top QB prospects in this draft if they keep playing the way they’re playing right now. They’re sitting at 2-9 currently and have the 3rd draft slot right now. That’s bound to change one way or the other, but it’s worth noting. Luckily, for Rhamondre Stevenson managers, he has been putting up some hefty numbers these past few weeks. This week, he scored 21.7 points on 98 rushing yards, a TD, and 5 catches. That makes three straight weeks of over 100 yards on offense for Rhamondre. Keep it goin’! Other than him, Demario Douglas was the only fantasy-relevant player on the Pats. Douglas had 6 catches for 49 yards. Rough game for the Patriots.

The Passing Paisano comes through again! Tommy DeVito may not be the most stellar QB in the game, but he’s exciting to root for and he got a win! 191 passing yards and a TD gave him 10.24 points this week. Jalin Hyatt appears to be his favorite target, as they connected for 5 passes and 109 yards (15.9 pts). Love to see Jalin Hyatt getting overtop the secondary. Saquon struggled this week. Only 46 rushing yards and 1 catch (6.6 pts). Tough week for his managers after a monster week prior to this. Wan’Dale barely notched 6 points and pretty much anyone else was useless in this game. If you happen to slide Isaiah Hodgins in your lineup, he got you 8.2 points.

Buccaneers vs Colts

The Buccaneers are on the struggle bus this year. There’s no reason why they shouldn’t be able to beat the Colts. The Colts’ defense is not good and there are enough pieces on the offense to be able to compete with lots of teams. Turnovers hurt them, especially, when Baker is throwing an interception and losing a fumble. Not great. He had 199 passing yards and 2 TDs. One to Mike Evans and the other to, oh, Mike Evans! How about that? Evans finished with 6 receptions for 70 yards and 2 TDs (25 points). He was WR2 in week 12. Baker came next with 13.36 points. Rachaad White had a solid day. More so for real football than fantasy football, but he did score 13 points. 100 rushing yards and 2 catches for 10 yards. Not too shabby. Chris Godwin was so close to a big day. He caught a pass that was for a TD, but he couldn’t get two feet down. He went from potentially a 15-point week to a 7.5-point week because of that. At least you got 8.5 points from Cade Otton if you were in a position to play him.

Jonathan Taylor is so back and I love it. Another big week for him. 91 rushing yards and 2 TDs. Not a single pass catch this week though, which I just find funny for some reason. 21.1 points for JT. Top 10 finish for week 12. Michael Pittman Jr. got peppered with targets yet again. 13 targets this week! With Josh Downs in the lineup! I love that. Pittman finished with 10 catches for 107 yards. 20.7 points this week but can you imagine if he found paydirt?! Could’ve been a monster week. Oh well, 20.7 is huge regardless. Gardner Minshew threw for 251 yards and had a pick. Not great, but JT carried the offense. Minshew had 14.64 points. Josh Downs wound up with 5 catches for 43 yards. I was hoping he’d do better off the bye week, but we can only go up from here! Great win for the Colts this week!

Texans vs Jaguars

When you look at this game, you are pretty much looking at the future of the NFL between Trevor Lawrence/C.J. Stroud. At least, that’s what it feels like in my opinion. The Texans are good and put up a hell of a fight against the Jaguars who are also a really good team. C.J. Stroud notched 300 passing yards again, adding 2 passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown as well. 30.86 points this week for the rookie! He is on fire. QB4 for week 12. Love to see it. Nico Collins had a big week thanks to Stroud. Collins hauled in 7 passes for 104 yards and a touchdown (23.4 points). That puts him at WR4 overall for the week. Tank Dell also had a solid week, scoring 17.2 points off 5 catches for 50 yards and a TD. Devin Singletary has been a freight train lately, but he moved his efforts to the receiving game this week. 6 catches for 54 yards and 18 rushing yards (13 points). Not bad for a waiver wire pickup!

The Jaguars got the win in this one. Trevor Lawrence had a solid day tossing the rock. 24.56 fantasy points as well! 364 passing yards and 2 total touchdowns. He snuck one in at the goal line. Could’ve had more points if it weren’t for a bogus interception with no penalty called on a cornerback…I digress. Calvin Ridley had 0 points in the first half. Do you know what he finished the game with? That’s right. 21.9 points. What an insane half of football for Ridley. He caught 5 passes for 89 yards and a touchdown. Christian Kirk wasn’t left out, he had a good chunk of yards too, with 89. 4 catches for Kirk, giving him 12.9 points. Travis Etienne has come back down to earth lately but got you 12.6 points this week on 56 rush yards and 4 catches for 30 yards. Evan Engram remains the player most targeted in the NFL without a receiving touchdown. Tough luck, but he got you 9.9 points this week.

Browns vs Broncos

The Browns are lucky to be at 7-4 with their current situation. Dorian Thomas-Robinson (DTR) isn’t the guy, and P.J. Walker isn’t all that much better. Are we sure Joe Flacco isn’t worth rolling out there??? You know when David Njoku is the leading fantasy scorer with 11.9 points, the week went badly. Followed by Jerome Ford with 11.9 points as well. Fun fact, he has scored 11.9 points in 3 straight weeks. Tough week for Browns players in general. DTR had 11.46 points, Cedric Tillman had 9.5 points and Amari Cooper had 3.6 points. There’s just not much to recap because the Browns’ offense is LOST right now.

Don’t look now, but the Broncos are on a 5-game win streak! Watch out AFC! They’re making a playoff push. They’re JUST outside the wildcard spot right now. With the Texans, Chargers, and Patriots coming up for the Broncos, they could easily take that wildcard spot in the coming weeks. Russell Wilson led the way with 16.76 points this week. 134 passing yards and a touchdown, but also 34 yards and a TD. Samaje Perine led the backfield, scoring 13.6 points on 55 rushing yards and a TD. Javonte got to 10 points, thank goodness (for my fantasy team), but I wish he got that goal-line carry dang it! Courtland Sutton broke his touchdown-scoring streak in week 12. Bummer. Only 9.1 points for him this week on his 3 catches for 61 yards. If I remember correctly, he had a catch in the endzone that was ruled incomplete, but it was super close to being a touchdown! So the opportunities are still there.

Cardinals vs Rams

The Cardinals struggled to get things going in this one. Except Kyler. He did pretty well in fantasy. 20 points from K1. 256 passing yards, a passing TD, and a rushing TD. He played a pretty clean game, with no interceptions. The defense let them down big time. Marquise Brown had a solid week scoring 14.8 points. He caught 6 passes for 88 yards. Another productive week from Trey McBride. 13 points from 7 catches for 60 yards. He is averaging ~7 targets over the past month. Love to see it. Greg Dortch was the lucky recipient of Kyler’s lone touchdown pass. Dortch caught 3 passes for 27 yards along with the TD catch. 11.7 points for him in week 12. James Conner is really struggling after returning from his injury. He has yet to crack double digits in the past three weeks, with 7.2 this week.

You know who didn’t skip a beat coming back from injury? Kyren Williams. He balled out in week 12! RB1 overall. You love to see it. 143 rushing yards, 6 receptions, 61 receiving yards, and 2 receiving TDs. A massive 38-point week from Williams. Matthew Stafford also had a solid week, notching 23.36 points. 229 passing yards and 2 TDs for the vet. Love seeing him thrive. Tyler Higbee was another 2 touchdown scorer for the Rams. He had a big 19-/9-point week, and I doubt many were playing him because he hadn’t scored in double digits since week 4. Either way, if you did, well done! You know it was a weird week when Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua only scored 11.5 points combined despite Stafford throwing 4 TDs. GET THEM THE BALL MATT! Hell of a win for the Rams this week!

Chiefs vs Raiders

The Raiders gave the Chiefs a run for their money in the first half! At one point, the Raiders were up 14-0, but Mahomes quickly changed that as he tied it up right before the half. Josh Jacobs was a large part of why the Raiders were in this game. Jacobs ran for 110 yards and a TD while adding on 4 catches giving him 22.5 points. Jakobi Meyers came out of the woodwork and slapped a 20-point week in our face. 6 catches for 79 yards and a TD for Meyers this week. Davante Adams didn’t have a stinker week, so that is good. He had 5 catches for 73 yards (12.3 pts). All he was missing was the touchdown. Aidan O’Connell didn’t look horrible, and the Chiefs defense is pretty solid this year. So that was a nice little surprise from him. 248 passing yards and a TD this week (13.92 pts).

The Chiefs started slow, but they turned it around going into halftime as I mentioned, and pretty much controlled the game from there on. They only allowed 3 points in the second half. Isiah Pacheco made the Raiders run defense suffer. Pacheco racked up 55 yards rushing, 2 rushing TDs, 5 catches, and 34 yards receiving. A huge 25.9-point week for the sophomore back. He was the RB4 overall in week 12. Rashee Rice made the Raiders secondary suffer. They couldn’t stop anything! Rice had 8 catches for 107 yards and a touchdown! Rashee Rice scored his season-high this week with 24.7 points. Rice finished as the WR3 overall! Stellar performances from the Chiefs’ young core. Mahomes racked up nearly 300 passing yards and threw 2 touchdowns on top of that putting him at 20 points. Travis Kelce rounded it all out with 6 catches for 91 yards (15.1 pts). Not too shabby, he chose to spread the wealth this week (wink).

Bills vs Eagles

This may have been the game of the year thus far. If you didn’t get a chance to watch this one, check it out on YouTube because it was thrilling, to say the least! Josh Allen scored 39 fantasy points, putting him at QB1 overall in week 12. Love to see it. He is a fantasy cheat code when he isn’t throwing interceptions. Granted, he had another this week, but he also threw for 339 yards, ran for 81 yards, and had 4 total touchdowns. What an incredible performance in a big game. If only they came away from it victorious. Gabe Davis had his typical spike week, reaching 22.5 points. He caught 6 passes for 105 yards with a TD. It had been a month since his last big week. Good luck dealing with that the rest of the way! Stefon had a big week too! He had 6 receptions for 74 yards and a touchdown. What more can you ask from Diggs? Big week for him. James Cook recorded 16 fantasy points, running for 43 yards and catching 6 passes for 57 yards. I’ll take it!

The Eagles are unbeatable. I don’t know how else to put it. No matter what happens, they come back and win games. There’s a lot, and I mean A LOT, of chatter across the social media world that the officiating in Philadelphia is questionable. On multiple occasions, not just one. I’m not going to sit here and nag about it, but I know there are lots of people frustrated with it. While Josh Allen was QB1 this week, Jalen Hurts wasn’t far behind with 34.5 points this week. 200 passing yards, 65 rushing yards, and 5 total touchdowns. Hurts is also a fantasy cheat code! DeVonta Smith came in clutch with a huge week for his managers. 23.6 points this week from 7 receptions for 106 yards and a touchdown. Love to see it! That was his season-high score thus far. A.J. Brown had a decent week, catching 5 passes for 37 yards and a TD (14.7 pts). Swift struggled to get points on the board, finishing with 9.4 on 80 rushing yards and one catch. Unreal comeback victory for the Eagles in this one.

Ravens vs Chargers

I can’t believe I’m writing this on Monday and Brandon Staley still is the coach of the Chargers. They are now 4-7 and a miracle would need to happen for them to make the playoffs at this point. Hell, it might even be impossible if it were to come down to tiebreakers. Either way, gross season for them. Luckily, Keenan Allen is killing it in fantasy. He had 22.6 points this week. 14 catches for 106 yards is insane! He has averaged 15 targets over the past 3 weeks. Gerald Everett found paydirt this week, putting him at 14.3 points after 4 catches for 43 yards and the score. Justin Herbert finished with 217 passing yards and a TD. Also threw an interception and lost a fumble. On top of Herbert’s measly performance, Austin Ekeler struggled as well. 9.2 points for Ekeler, and he only had 64 yards of total offense. Yikes.

The Ravens defense finished top 3 in week 12, which makes sense because they shut down the Chargers. 16 points for the Baltimore D/ST. Rookie speedster, Zay Flowers, put together his best performance in his first season, with 23.2 points. He had 5 catches, 62 total yards, and 2 TDs. His first top-10 finish of the season! Lamar finished with about 15 points this week. He threw for 177 yards, ran for 39, and had 1 passing touchdown. Keaton Mitchell finished with double digits this week. 10.9 points for him on 64 rushing yards and 2 catches for 25 yards. Gus Edwards struggled to get things going as he finished with 4.7 points this week. I am curious to see how the Ravens offense produces without Mark Andrews going forward.

Bears vs Vikings

If you’re an East Coast person and you stayed up to watch this barn burner, I applaud you. Not including fans of the teams, of course. This game was rather boring until the 4th quarter. Field goal after field goal followed by an onslaught of punts. It was a rough watch. Josh Dobbs easily played his worst game of the season. He almost had more interceptions (4) than fantasy points (4.5). Thanks to desperation, T.J. Hockenson was able to reach 16 points as he caught the only touchdown pass of the game. Let alone the only touchdown in general. Hockenson had 5 catches for 50 yards. Jordan Addison managed to get 9.9 points, but man I miss the weeks when he was going off. Alexander Mattison had 8.3 points and that about wraps up any Vikings production. Should be interesting for the Vikings going forward.

I cannot figure out what the Bears are doing on offense. I saw Justin Fields’ passing chart last night and almost every throw was either to the left side of the field outside of the hashes, or the right side of the field outside of the hashes. And the majority of the throws were less than a yard or two downfield. If not behind the line of scrimmage! What are we doing? Why do they not gameplan for Fields to stretch the field? I dunno. Confuses me, but what do I know? I’m just an average guy. If nothing else, at least D.J. Moore was the recipient of all those short passes. He got PEPPERED with targets. 11 catches for 114 yards. No touchdown, but we can work with that! Outside of Moore, we had 12.5 points from Roschon Johnson, 11.3 points for Cole Kmet, and 10.58 from Fields. Not spectacular days for Johnson and Kmet, but not horrible either! Hell of a win for the Bears in the final seconds.
