Steelers Sign Abdullah Anderson
The Pittsburgh Steelers signed free-agent defensive lineman Abdullah Anderson to an undisclosed one-year deal on Monday. The 25-year-old spent most of last season with the Minnesota Vikings practice squad, although he was elevated to the active roster for one game. He was signed as an undrafted free agent after the 2018 draft by the Chicago Bears and spent most of his first two seasons in the league on their practice squad, making six appearances in 2019. Anderson has four tackles and one sack in seven career NFL games, so he'll be providing depth for Pittsburgh's defensive line. Anderson and T.J. Carter, who signed three days ago, will compete for a spot on the active roster or practice squad this summer.
