Adam Thielen News
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen caught three of his four targets for 50 yards in the 31-24 loss to the New York Giants in the NFC Wild Card game. During the regular season, Thielen posted just 42.1 receiving yards per game and a career-low 10.2 yards per reception. The 32-year-old is beyond the age apex for wide receivers, and the Vikings have a potential out on his contract this offseason. All that said, there's a chance he has played his last game in the Minnesota uniform. If he's retained, his fantasy value will still take a hit as he enters his age-33 season. If he's cut from the roster, it'll be interesting to see where he lands for 2023.
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen has totaled just seven receptions in his last four games, so he's an uninspiring DFS play for the Wild Card game against the New York Giants. Pass-catchers Justin Jefferson, T.J. Hockenson, and K.J. Osborn have all had massive boom weeks in the latter part of the regular season, but Thielen has not. Ultimately, Thielen's days of being a volume receiver who regularly puts up 100-plus yards are behind him, so his ceiling isn't high enough to consider him a strong DFS play. He can be an inexpensive throw-in at $4,400, but since Osborn is just $100 more expensive and has proven to have more upside, he's the preferred option here.
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen caught two of his three targets for eight yards and a touchdown in the win over the Chicago Bears. Obviously, it wasn't a huge fantasy day, but he continued to be a strong option in the red zone for Kirk Cousins. The 32-year-old wide receiver finishes the season with 70 catches for 716 yards and six touchdowns for Minnesota. Thielen technically has two years remaining on his contract, but the Vikings have a potential out on his deal after the postseason concludes and the off-season begins. It will be interesting to see if they move on from the aging pass-catcher.

The Minnesota Vikings haven't changed their offense at all this offseason, which means wide receiver Adam Thielen will be, once more, the No. 2 wide receiver in town. All of the wide receivers Justin Jefferson, K.J. Osborn, running back Dalvin Cook, and quarterback Kirk Cousins stayed put, so there won't be significant changes in how this time operates, which is nothing to be worried about. Cousins has finished inside the top-15 QB realm in all past seven seasons and as a top-11 QB in six of...
