Colbert will offer additional depth as the Bears look to bolster their defensive secondary.

He'll simply provide defensive back depth in Tennessee if he sticks around.

Colbert was a seventh-round selection of the San Francisco 49ers back in 2017 out of the University of Miami. He spent the first two years of his NFL career in San Francisco before joining the Miami Dolphins in 2019. Colbert had 13 tackles (nine solo) in six games (two starts) for the Giants last season. The 27-year-old played in 14 games in his rookie season, but he hasn't been on the field for more than seven games in the last three years due to injuries. In his four seasons in the league, Colbert has 93 tackles (74 solo), eight passes defensed, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in 33 games (19 starts).
