Anthony Schwartz News
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Anthony Schwartz caught a five-yard touchdown on his lone target and added 24 yards on two carries in a 24-22 loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 16. Schwartz was surprisingly part of the offense after having not seen a touch since November 7. The rookie wideout's first career touchdown was an easy one as he got wide open in the back of the end zone for Baker Mayfield's second TD pass. Schwartz has blazing speed but hasn't done much to separate himself on a weak Cleveland depth chart in 2021. Perhaps he will see some more chances over the final two weeks of the regular season. Cleveland faces the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 17's Monday Night Football contest.
Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver Anthony Schwartz (concussion) and tight end Harrison Bryant (ankle) are active against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 15. Schwartz is coming off a concussion, while Bryant returns to action after suffering an ankle injury in Week 12. With Jarvis Landry out, Schwartz figures to be the third wide receiver on the depth chart behind Donovan Peoples-Jones and Rashard Higgins. Bryant will serve as the No. 2 tight end behind David Njoku with Austin Hooper out, so he could get some looks from third-string quarterback Nick Mullens in this one. Still, Schwartz nor Bryant have big enough roles to consider plugging into fantasy lineups, especially with Mullens making his first start in 2021.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Anthony Schwartz (concussion) is listed as questionable for the Week 15 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. He has cleared concussion protocol, which means he has a chance of playing on Tuesday. Schwartz was originally ruled out, but the postponement has given him an additional time to clear testing. The Browns are shorthanded, so they could need Schwartz to step up this week. However, he hasn't offered much help this season and could have Nick Mullens under center. That being said, Schwartz won't be someone worth starting in any fantasy formats this week.
