Brandon McManus Nails Two More Field Goals

Denver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus made both of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra points in the 20-13 win over the Dolphins in Week 11. McManus has made exactly two field goals in each of the last three weeks and has made all nine of his extra points and all seven of his field goals since missing an extra point in Week 7 against the Chiefs. He's only missed one of his 21 field-goal tries (95.2 percent) in 2020 as well. McManus has been money all year in the accuracy department, but he's tied for 12th in the league with his 21 attempts through 11 weeks. He's also boosted when he plays in the altitude in Denver at home. He'll be there again in Week 12, but McManus will be more of a low-end kicking option in a game in which the Broncos won't be afforded the luxury of settling for field goals.

Brandon McManus A Fringe Starter Against Miami

Denver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus has made 94.7 percent of his field-goal tries (18-for-19) this year and 94.1 percent of his extra-point tries (16-for-17) in nine games this season. His lone field-goal miss came from 50-plus yards, too. McManus also hasn't missed a kick since he shanked an extra point in Week 7 against the Chiefs. So why is he just a fringe fantasy starter in 14-team leagues? The Dolphins, his Week 11 opponent, have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points per game to the kicking position and the fewest field-goal attempts (nine) in the league. Plus, McManus has only attempted 19 field goals, which is tied for 13th in the NFL. An already disjointed Denver offense could be without quarterback Drew Lock (ribs) this week as well, making McManus a risky option.

Brandon McManus Attempts Just Two Field Goals

Denver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus hasn't missed a kick since Week 7 against the Chiefs, but he only attempted two field goals in the 37-12 blowout loss to the Raiders in Week 10. He was able to help his fantasy managers with a 50-yard make in one of his two tries on Sunday, but the lack of consistent volume in this shaky Broncos offense continues to cap his upside in fantasy leagues. After 10 weeks, McManus ranks 15th in the NFL at his position in overall fantasy points, but he's only attempted 19 field goals on the season, which is tied for 13th in the league. He's made 94.7 percent of his field-goal tries (one miss), but he'll remain a shaky streaming option against an under-the-radar Dolphins Defense in Week 11.
