Eagles Add Linebacker Casey Toohill In Seventh Round
The Philadelphia Eagles added to their linebacker room in the seventh round, selecting Stanford linebacker Casey Toohill. Toohill is an older prospect, as it took him until his senior year to become a regular starter. Once in the lineup, Toohill was a monster, racking up eight sacks last year to go with 11.5 tackles for a loss in 12 games. At 6-foot-4, he is a tall pass rusher with high-caliber athleticism. He needs more experience, but Toohill is the type of athlete that can grow into a productive player in the NFL.
