Cedrick Wilson Jr. News
The New Orleans Saints have agreed to terms on a deal with wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. on Thursday. The salary is unknown at the moment, but it appears to be a two-year deal. The 28-year-old hasn't done much of the field since his breakout 2021 season with the Dallas Cowboys. After that, Wilson spent two years with the Miami Dolphins where he posted below average campaigns. This looks like a low-risk move for the Saints who are trying to add depth after moving on from Michael Thomas.

Cedrick Wilson Jr. Finds The End Zone On Sunday
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. had two catches for 27 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to Baltimore. Jaylen Waddle (ankle) wasn't available, meaning additional targets were up for grabs. Although Tyreek Hill was the obvious beneficiary, Wilson at least turned one of his grabs into a trip to the end zone. That said, if Waddle doesn't return for the pivotal AFC East clash with the Bills in Week 18, Wilson warrants streaming consideration for those looking for a flex option.

Cedrick Wilson Jr. Too Risky To Start In Week 17
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. hasn't been fantasy-relevant all season and has racked up a total of 19 catches for 245 yards and two touchdowns. He has one game with double-digit fantasy points in PPR formats and he has only finished above WR40 once. Even though Jaylen Waddle (ankle) has been ruled out for this game, Wilson's lack of production makes him too risky to start in a fantasy championship game. On top of that, the Baltimore Ravens only allow 32.0 fantasy points per game to opposing receiver groups. Tyreek Hill will see plenty of work and then the rest of the passing work will likely be spread evenly. There should be better options than Wilson in Week 17.

Cedrick Wilson Jr. Hauls In Two Of Five Targets
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. was targeted five times during Saturday's preseason finale but finished the game with just 29 yards. Now 27, Wilson was solid during his final season with the Cowboys back in 2021 but struggled to produce as a Dolphin last year. He's not on the fantasy radar as we approach the 2023 campaign.

Cedrick Wilson Jr. Could Be Traded
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. appears to be on the trade block this offseason. The organization is reportedly open to moving the 27-year-old, but finding a trade partner might be difficult. Wilson has an $8 million cap hit for the 2023 season. The Dolphins don't exactly need Wilson after signing Braxton Berrios this offseason. Wilson didn't bring much to the table for the Dolphins last season. He finished with 12 receptions, 136 yards, and zero touchdowns in 15 games. However, Wilson was productive with the Dallas Cowboys in 2021. He could be a decent contributor, assuming he finds the right system for himself.

Cedrick Wilson Jr. Snaps Ugly Streak In Week 9
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. caught two passes for 23 yards against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. After going three games with zero catches (and just one target), Wilson bounced back with a fine outing in Week 9. Still, he remains a depth piece in the Dolphins' offense going forward and should be left on waivers in all fantasy leagues.

Cedrick Wilson Jr. Targeted Four Times Sunday
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. turned four targets into two receptions for 20 yards against the New York Jets in Week 5. Despite Miami's offensive struggles as a whole, Wilson set a season-high in targets and tied his season-high in receptions and yards. He's still not a viable fantasy option heading into next week's clash against the Minnesota Vikings.

Cedrick Wilson Jr. Inactive For Week 4
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. (ribs, toe) is inactive for the Thursday night matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. The 26-year-old has two receptions for 20 yards through the first three games. It doesn't sound like he was going to make much of an impact anyway. The expectation is that Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle (groin) will get a majority of the targets. It's tough to trust any other wideouts on this roster outside of them.

Jaylen Waddle, Cedrick Wilson Jr. Questionable
Miami Dolphins wide receivers Jaylen Waddle (groin) and Cedrick Wilson Jr. (ribs, toe) are both listed as questionable to play on Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 4. Waddle was listed as a DNP on Monday's estimated practice report before being limited the last two days. Wilson has been listed as limited all week. Fantasy managers will need to check back before Thursday's contest, but as long as Waddle is active, he's a must-start in fantasy lineups. He has three touchdowns through three weeks and has racked up 15 receptions on 25 targets for 273 yards and one TD in the last two games. If one or both of Waddle and Wilson were to sit out, Tyreek Hill would be heavily targeted, while rookie Erik Ezukanma and Trent Sherfield would have bigger roles in the passing attack.

Cedrick Wilson Jr. Active Against Bills
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. (ribs, toe) is officially active for Week 3 against the Buffalo Bills after he was initially listed as questionable to play. Running back Myles Gaskin will be a healthy scratch for the second straight week. Wilson will continue to serve as the team's distant No. 3 receiver behind studs Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, who both went off in last week's win over the Baltimore Ravens. The 26-year-old has just two catches on three targets for 20 yards through his first two games in Miami, so he should remain on the waiver wire in most leagues. Miami is facing a beat up Buffalo secondary this Sunday, but Wilson is likely to remain off the fantasy radar.
