Fullback Cory Harkey was informed by the Los Angeles Rams that he has been waived. Harkey had previously served as the team's fullback under Jeff Fisher, but new head coach Sean McVay has instead elected to run without a fullback for now. This means that McVay is showing a lot of confidence in both star running back Todd Gurley and his offensive line to get the job done without a blocking back. Rookie Sam Rogers may still make the practice squad, but his future will depend on how McVay's experiment turns out.
