Geoff Swaim News
Arizona Cardinals tight end Geoff Swaim (calf) won't return to Sunday's meeting with the 49ers. He suffered a calf injury, ending his day with one catch for 26 yards. That said, it's unlikely many fantasy managers had him in the lineup, considering Trey McBride is the primary tight end on the depth chart.

Geoff Swaim Catches Touchdown In Win
Tennessee Titans tight end Geoff Swaim caught all three of his targets for 19 yards and a touchdown in the win against the Las Vegas Raiders. After three games, Swaim is out-targeting Austin Hooper, but neither should be on the fantasy radar until further notice. The Titans' passing game looks to be up and down, and since they are a run-first offense, there's not a ton of fantasy appeal for any Titans' pass-catchers not named Robert Woods or Treylon Burks.

Geoff Swaim Agrees To One-Year Extension
The Tennessee Titans agreed to a one-year contract extension with tight end Geoff Swaim on Monday, according to a source. Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed. Swaim had a career-high 31 catches for 210 yards and three touchdowns on 40 targets in 16 regular season games in his second year in Tennessee in 2021. He could be set for an even bigger role in 2022 with both Anthony Firkser and MyCole Pruitt on the free-agent market. In his two seasons with the Titans, Swaim has recorded 40 catches on 52 targets for 293 yards and four touchdowns in 26 total games. Even if he's the Titans top pass-catching tight end this year, he'll have a lower ceiling as a potential TE1.

Geoff Swaim - Week 17 Outlook for Fantasy Football
Tennessee Titans tight end Geoff Swaim has caught at least three passes in two of his last three games. He gets a plus matchup against a surging Miami Dolphins defense that ranks 26th in DVOA versus opposing tight ends. The 28-year-old owns 8% of the team's target share but has topped 30 receiving yards just once this season. Swaim has caught 27 passes for 199 yards and two touchdowns over 14 games in 2021. Fantasy managers searching for a streamer can look for other tight-end options and leave Swaim on the waiver wire.

Geoff Swaim Catches Three Passes In Thursday's Win
Tennessee Titans tight end Geoff Swaim caught all three of his targets for 10 yards in Thursday's 20-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers. The 28-year-old out-snapped fellow tight ends MyCole Pruitt (25) and Anthony Firkser (16) with 36 snaps. He's now caught at least three passes in two of his last three games. Despite Swaim leading the tight end rotation in snaps, it hasn't led to much fantasy production. The veteran has hauled in 27 catches for 199 yards and two touchdowns over 14 games in 2021. Swaim is a touchdown-dependent option in deep-league formats against the Miami Dolphins in Week 17.

Geoff Swaim - Week 16 Outlook for Fantasy Football
Tennessee Titans' tight end Geoff Swaim has been limited to one catch in three of his last four games. He continues to lead Tennessee's tight ends in snaps but isn't heavily utilized in the passing game as the veteran owns just 8% of the team's target share. The 28-year-old has caught 24 passes for 189 yards and two touchdowns over 13 games in 2021. Despite leading the Titans tight ends in snaps, Swaim hasn't produced recently and is not a recommended streamer against the San Francisco 49ers for the fantasy playoffs.

Geoff Swaim - Week 15 Outlook for Fantasy Football
Tennessee Titans tight end Geoff Swaim led the team in receiving yards in the Week 14 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 28-year-old is in a time-share with Anthony Firkser and MyCole Pruitt. However, he led all skill position players with 54 snaps in Week 14. Swaim has caught 23 passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns over 12 games in 2021. He faces a Pittsburgh Steelers defense that ranks 20th in DOVA against tight ends this season. Swaim is touchdown-dependent and a risky option for the fantasy playoffs in Week 15.

Geoff Swaim Leads Titans With 45 Receiving Yards
Tennessee Titans tight end Geoff Swaim caught three of four targets for 45 yards in Sunday's 20-0 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 28-year-old led the Titans with 45 yards receiving yards, as most of his production came from a 24-yard reception. Teammate Anthony Firskser had more targets than Swaim as the veteran tight end was second only to Julio Jones with five targets. Swaim has become the Titans' top-pass, catching tight end with 23 receptions, 184 yards, and two touchdowns over 11 games in 2021. The Texas product is a low-end TE2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 15.

Geoff Swaim - Week 14 Outlook for Fantasy Football
Tennessee Titans tight end Geoff Swaim logged 73% of the team's offensive snaps but was only targeted once in the Week 12 loss to the New England Patriots. He has become the team's primary tight end in 2021, catching 20 passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns over 11 games this season. Swaim will look to turn things around against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 14. The Jaguars' defense allows the 15th most fantasy points to tight ends and ranks 25th in DVOA against the position. Despite the plus matchup, Swaim hasn't produced enough this season to be considered anything either than a dart throw in deep-league formats.
Dec 11, 2021
Geoff Swaim Active In Week 12
Tennessee Titans tight end Geoff Swaim (concussion) is active for the Week 12 game against the New England Patriots. Swaim only has 19 receptions for 131 yards and two touchdowns on 26 targets in 10 games for the Titans this year, but Tennessee is desperate for playmakers with receivers A.J. Brown (chest), Julio Jones (hamstring) and Marcus Johnson (hamstring) all on Injured Reserve. Swaim could be more involved in the passing game after sitting out last week, but the Titans have also involved tight ends MyCole Pruitt and Anthony Firkser plenty this year. Swaim will have a little bit more appeal in fantasy with the Titans lacking offensive weapons, but he'll still be a touchdown-dependent TE2.
