Free-agent offensive talent Greg Little has signed with the Houston Texans. The details of the contract are unknown, but it's assumed to be a one-year deal. The Texans are looking to add depth at the tackle spot behind Laremy Tunsil and Tytus Howard. Last season, Little started in seven of the 17 games he played in with the Miami Dolphins. He's a former second-round pick of the Carolina Panthers from 2019. There isn't high expectations here as Little is expected to be depth.
The Miami Dolphins made a handful of roster moves on Tuesday. The most interesting being acquiring offensive tackle Greg Little from the Carolina Panthers. In exchange for the former second round pick, the Panthers received a seventh round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. The promising talent prospect was selected 37th overall during the 2019 draft. He saw limited playing time during two seasons in Carolina. The trade to Miami suggests that Little might not have even made the roster cut this time around. This trade won't have much of an impact in fantasy football. However, it's well worth the risk for Miami who potentially got starting tackle for a seventh round pick. Little is not projected to open the season as a starter, but he's young and has plenty of upside.
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Little has impressed so far this preseason, moving up the depth chart in the process. From a camp body to taking some first team reps, Little has shown some of his early NFL career form in training camp and should be an interesting name to watch throughout the preseason. If Little can become one of the team's starting receivers, he could potentially return flex value at an incredible value. Keep an eye on how Little does this preseason before committing a last round pick to him.
Veteran Wide Receiver Greg Little Hoping For Cardinals Comeback
Veteran free-agent wide receiver Greg Little has been participating in the Arizona Cardinals rookie camps this offseason as the former Browns player hopes to make an impression and receive a roster spot at the end of the summer. Little had over 700 yards as a rookie in 2011 but spent last season "on the couch," making his chances of actually being on the roster slim, at best. Little's fantasy upside is minimal unless he somehow performs a complete comeback and is able to cement himself in a significant role on the team.
