Isaiah McKenzie News
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie made his return to the field on Sunday after sitting out Wild-Card weekend. Sadly, McKenzie wasn't able to make much of an impact during this game. The slot receiver hauled in both of his two targets for 10 yards in the loss to the Bengals. To be fair, it wasn't all his fault as the Bills struggled to get anything going on offense in this game. His fantasy value is going to hinge on what the Bills do this offseason. Veteran Cole Beasley is likely going to retire or head elsewhere. Although, Khalil Shakir has shown solid progression, so he could push McKenzie for the starting job. Fantasy managers will have to wait and see what the Bills do this offseason.
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (hamstring) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Sunday's Divisional Round matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. This is good news after McKenzie was forced to sit out the Wild-Card round due to a hamstring issue. It appears McKenzie is healthy enough to play and should start in the slot for Buffalo. His return should mean a decreased role for both Cole Beasley and Khalil Shakir on Sunday. Neither of them were reliable fantasy options, but probably won't be worth a dart throw in DFS contests now. McKenzie should be considered a boom-or-bust flex option for Sunday's slate.
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (hamstring), who missed the wild-card win over the Miami Dolphins, took part in a full practice on Wednesday and is on track to play in this Sunday's Divisional Round matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. The 27-year-old should return to the majority of the team's slot-receiver duties this weekend, which will make it tougher for rookie Khalil Shakir and veteran Cole Beasley to make an impact as deep DFS sleepers. Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis will remain the Bills' top two wideouts. McKenzie will be a boom-or-bust option for fantasy managers competing in playoff leagues in what could be a high-scoring game against the Bengals. He caught 42 of his 65 targets for 423 yards and four touchdowns in 15 regular season contests (eight starts).
