Jacob Tamme Losing Trust, Another Letdown Performance
Jacob Tamme has been undoubtedly overshadowed, and slightly forgotten, on Atlanta's high-powered offense. Tamme finished the day with only two catches on three targets for 16 yards. He also lost some targets to backup, Levine Toilolo. Toilolo tallied three catches for 69 yards and a touchdown, and deserves some attention if Matt Ryan targets him in the future. For those again taking a chance on Atlanta's starting tight end were let down for the second straight week. Tamme did find the end zone Week 4, but caught only two passes for a measly three yards. Take away the touchdown and it has been a slow, early decline since his impressive performance Week 2. After Sunday's disappointing showing, Tamme has accumulated only five catches for 20 yards over his last three. It's safe to sit him or leave him on your bench next week.
